Re: Platinum excitement?
I have no expectations, so I don't think I'll be disappointed, more like not surprised if it's bleh. Over 40 authentic vehicles and tools 1) JD feller buncher 2) Westtech Woodcutter 3) Kotschenreuther tractor 4) Logging arm 5) Logging arm front rest 6) Tajfun winch (copy paste of the mod) 7) Volvo h...

Re: Will we ever get decent AI?
I doubt it. I would guess FS is played with a median of 20 hours per map and a total game time of 40 hours, with small to medium equipment based on the equipment in the game and how much effort Giants puts into the tools needed to manage large farms. Courseplay has been around for at least 3 version...

Re: Time for a break
I'm in the same spot; not all that interested in FS22 right now. I mainly want a 4x map that the AI driver works on (hillier version of Western Wilds at 4x); the AI driver is probably the most half baked part of this game as it seems fairly hard to setup because most mod maps don't use it. Its a lo...

Re: Unreal engine 5
If Giants doesn't pull their sock up soon, one day FS will be surpassed by a company using modern tools. It'll be like when Research in Motion (now Blackberry) refused to switch from a physical keyboard on early smart phones. Apple and others joined the market and quickly outpaced them. Although fa...

Re: Contracts disappearing?
Well I can't speak for the Contracts as am still using the newer GitHub Version of Better Contracts Mod that stops the AI from doing any work, meaning no contracts ever disappear. However it would not surprise me if Patch 1.7 hasn't fixed the contracts issue Giants created in Patch 1.5. Having spen...

Re: Crop rotation
Crop rotation mod was on the "mods curently in testing" topic two days ago. Today its not. I also didnt see it in the "mods" section. So, anybody knows where it is? Giants? Modder? It was a really cool feature in FS19, so I was very happy to see it on the list.... Probably faile...

Re: Contracts disappearing?
Just to make it clear to you what i mean. When they release a DLC which we pay for along comes a patch and in that patch is normally any game fixes. Lars has already said on the German forum they know what the problem is with the contracts and it's not a bug just a minor tweak. So to make it clear ...

Re: Various issues still
Games have bugs and the ability to correct all bugs is basically impossible. Bugs can be potentially be created each time the code is updated, with the general feeling being that any introduced bugs is countered by the net benefit of bug reduction associated with the patch. Giant's main issue in my ...

Probably August 16th as that is most likely when they will patch for the next DLC release on August 23rdFarmeros Argentinos wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 2:04 am How many years do you have to wait for the contracts to be returned to fs22?!?!?!?!! fix the game giants!!!!

Re: What Is Everyone's Criteria for Rating Mods?
I generally don't rate mods unless they are excellent or terrible. I also don't believe the ratings system because there are some rather average mods that are 4 star are above. If Giants had feedback, I'd care more about the rating system, but as is, the rating system just seems like a blind rating ...
