Re: PC Gamers: What controller setup do you like?

I'm using a X-Box 360 controller (wired) and keyboard. Walking, driving, camera, crane controls (frontloader, wheelloader etc) and most used functions as lifting and folding implement as well as indicator lights are all on the controller. Other functions like crab steering modes, guidance steering, ...

Re: Farming Simulator 19 FREE for PlayStation Plus members

I guess the majority of people were expecting something a bit more....exciting. :hmm: Maybe, and it is hard to please everyone, but simulation games is not something they offer very often and as said before I do hope people give it a try and discover they can enjoy them. But the fear for something ...

Re: Farming Simulator 19 FREE for PlayStation Plus members

Very pleased to see this on PS Plus this month, owning FS19 for PC and having played all previous versions on PC I'm curious to see how it is like on PS4. But all the negative reactions on the Playstation blog saddens and suprises me a bit, I very much hope that despite their initial disappointment ...

Re: UK Farmers - why no love for Valtra?

I think it just depends on what dealerships there are in the area, I have been following Balmesh on YouTube for many years now and he has filmed plenty of Valtra tractors. He currently lives in Cumbria

https://youtu.be/ U1Z3KTFn2fw This is a video I saw just the other day... You only need the U1Z3KTFn2fw bit in between the tags to make it work ;-) I'm also following Organic Dairyman (South Dakota) for about 1,5 years now, quite like the way he makes his video's, the channe...

PS How do you put a video on?
Copy the link from youtube (you only need the last bit behind the last / ) and put it in between
Quote any of the posts above with a video in it to see how it is done.

Re: Share your favorite real life farming videos.

To cheer everyone up a little on blue monday :-) , some New Holland tractors and the very first Schuitemaker Rapide 7200 fitted with a sliding axle (called a schuifas in Dutch) in action. The wagon was bought by this contractor in 2018 and back then already stood out because of the large 850/50R30.5...

Re: Getting Chaff off Field

or transfrer chaff module from a field hooklift trailer to hooklift semi-trailer but that doesnt feel very authentic. I'm on Meadow Grove so can't go too big. The hooklift method is used here in the Netherlands, mostly with custom built forage harvesters. Have a look on Youtube for the Dutch compan...

Re: John Deere Forage Harvester? How likely?

I still hope we get one (and a Fendt Katana as well), maybe just as a single vehicle with several headers. Like they did with the New Holland FR in FS15

Re: forage harvest with overloader

I think Overloader is a term that hasn't translated well from Giants native German to the English speaking parts of the world. I guess in Giants eyes because these vehicles are designed to act as in intermediary between harvester and trailer, they receive the load from a Harvester and then 'Overloa...

Re: forage harvest with overloader

Where I live "overloaders" are sometime used in the wet seasons to get the maize off the field, the tractors would easily get stuck in the mud so they put the overloader and forage harvester on tracs and leave the trucks and/or tractor on the road, it also prevents getting the roads covered in mud. ...

Re: MOD CONTEST MODS ARE ONLINE !

So far I really like the Geiselsberg map, I'm amazed by the amount of detail. The layout/size of the fields, roads etc just looks very similar to where I'm from and the area just across the German border here. My compliments for the modders, excellent work ! Other highlight for me was the Veenhuis s...

Re: Is FS19 missing something?

And engine sounds at idle sound good on 19. But under load and in acceleration, 17 sounds far better. Maybe this can help you a little : https://www.fs-uk.com/forum/index.php?topic=205657.0 I made this post on LS-UK for those that do not visit the German section of the Giants forum. This sound fix ...

Re: Samson PG II 35

For me it doesn't really need to be 100% functional. I mean if you leave it on the tank you can fill it, but for a sense of realism or roleplaying you could lower it into the slurry. So I'm happy it is at least animated/controlable. The same with the reel on the combine header or the covers on the t...

Around 300 hours on Felsbrunn, and 59.5 hours on my Case IH Magnum 7230 Pro, by far my favourite tractor after I fixed the sound.
