Re: Using water makes no difference for the hose clogging up

The answer from the Creative Mesh guys is that the water only has an effect on the wearamount of the pump.

Re: Using water makes no difference for the hose clogging up

I ain't no troll. Just saying the truth, some people think to much of the games realism When the game doesn't do what it's supposed to be doing, I needs a fix. Nothing to do with "realism" The OP was only asking: is it correct if it clogs up that quickly. That all the OP asked. So no need...

Using water makes no difference for the hose clogging up

Hi guys, As I understand it, using water with the slurry (Pumps N' Hoses Pack) shouldn't clog up the hose quite as fast as without water. But distributing 45000L slurry via a 500m hose clogs it up at 23%. With or without water. I was expecting a lower hose clog percentage using water. Have I misunde...

Re: The effect of grass rollers?

Well, you can always try to make up your own explanation. Not making up any explanation. What I posted was what was given on many articles as an answer for why do people or why do farmers roll grass when google searched. I'm sorry you just can't accept any answer that anyone gives you. Also underst...

Re: The effect of grass rollers?

Rolling grass fields in real life serves two functions, the first to push down stones or rocks which could potentially harm machinery, secondly it provides better soil to plant contact that promotes and encourages better and more consistent growth. In the game whether playing base game or with prec...

Re: The effect of grass rollers?

Ok, but that's a bit far fetched idea isn't it? I mean what is that feature trying to simulate? Rolling grass fields in real life serves two functions, the first to push down stones or rocks which could potentially harm machinery, secondly it provides better soil to plant contact that promotes and ...

Re: The effect of grass rollers?

Only thing Grass Roller will do with Precision Farming Active is instantly change a Grass field from Harvested to Growing again. Where as without using the Grass Roller you would have to advance until the next month/growth period to see the field change by itself from Harvested back to Growing agai...

Re: The effect of grass rollers?

No, the grass roller doesn't add fertilizer (with precision farming). Of course the standard roller, after seeding grass, changes the 'needs rolling' state. But once grass is seeded, there is no use any more for the standard roller, and you would think that the grass roller would change the 'needs r...

The effect of grass rollers?

The grass rollers are supposed to increase the yield of the grass field. Yet, I dont see any change in the yield map after using the grass roller. Neither does the 'Needs rolling' state of the field change.

What is the effect of a grass roller?

Re: Precision farming and crop sensor

Is here no one that can tell me if you really need the crop sensor? I would have thought that this would be a pretty basic question for you FS experts :)

Re: Precision farming and crop sensor

No comments about the reason for using the crop sensor? When it seems to work perfectly without it.

Precision farming and crop sensor

Hi, two questions regarding the use of a crop sensor(either internal or external sensor). First; fertilizing without a crop sensor still varies the application rate depending on the crop and soiltype. So why use the crop sensor? Secondly; can a disc spreader precision fertilize as good as a sprayer?...
