Call a contractor

Cool Idea! Wish it was on console of course! For how rough of a start it was early on for fs19, I do feel the game has come a long way! And the mods have been amazing!

Still playing the map, working with a mid size farm built around field 29 with sleep trigger at the house. Love the feel of the map! Such great details! Also googled Griffen Indian wow, feel like I've been there after playing the map!

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer

The update 1.1.0.0 that is in review is showing a slot count of 463 with everything sold and apx. 470 on new farmer. Now this could change when Giants releases it. The only way I believe I can lower on future updates is remove buildings and props. This is something I do not want to really do. For y...

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer

The more I learn about this map, the more I really do appreciate it. The fact that this is AJFarmer's first map. They has been working on it for 2 year, which I just want to say something about that. I can't tell this took a lot of time. You just look at things and think, "Wow, some time was put in...

Re: Does Anyone Still Use Plows?

It's all Chisel plows and disk rippers here, some guys have subsoilers but they're expense to pull through the field for not much of a return, usually only run over highly traffic areas of a field. Most have plows yes but they haven't been moved in 20 years. Chisels and Rippers are more efficient. A...

Re: Precision Farming time consuming

The ability to hire an agronomist to do the sampling is intriguing. I have spent time as an agronomist doing just this and this is really how it’s mostly done in the part of the US where I’m from. In fact, a lot of fertilizer and chemical dealers will offer the service in return for you using their...

Re: Dear Giants, I want to feed my cows

I have fed cattle in feedlots and our ration didn’t include silage at all. A way to steam corn or just to mix corn and alfalfa for feed would be awesome. I’m not a huge fan of chopping corn for silage and a way to feed cattle without it would be great. What was your roughage portion then? Dry hay? ...
