Re: The next game and John Deere DLC

By John Deere DLC, do you mean the one with a single piece of John Deere equipment, four pieces from some other brand, and two from a fictional brand?

Re: Farming simulator 21 release?

i dont know about you but i think they should at a story mode... A story mode would be fun for a lot of people who don't necessarily want to make up their own stories. I think it would be more effort than they are willing or interested in putting into the game, since they've been more than happy to...

Re: Next Gen consoles!

I have a gaming PC, and plan to get both consoles. Xbox will be immediately, and PS5 will be when Gran Turismo is about to be released. PC people who say they don't care sometimes say that just because they can't afford everything. *thumbsup* I'm not sure what you mean by waiting until next year to...

Re: House Rules - Self Imposed Limits

My most important house rule, when playing seasons, and with all the animals around, don't eat the yellow snow.

Re: Could these new consoles close the gap with PC gaming?

Whether it's knowledge, time or money, consoles are capable of more than some people think, and more than some companies are capable of. As for the cost of the machine, a $3000 console would keep up with (if not surpass) a $3000 PC. It would just be a three thousand dollar pc then in a few years a ...

Re: Could these new consoles close the gap with PC gaming?

It's something I've often thought about myself; if I ran GIANTS how would I approach various things, and one of those was thinking of a viable yet fair system permitting (or not) mod edits and collaborations and granting access rights, though my main reason for that thought process was cutting back...

Re: Could these new consoles close the gap with PC gaming?

People who go on about consoles always having outdated hardware and always being behind the curve in terms of performance aren't really seeing the whole picture. Consoles are incredibly well optimised. Its why a 7 year old console - the PS4 - can play a game that looks as good as The Last of Us 2. ...

Re: Inquiring Minds Want to Know!

Console players have the choice to buy a Season Pass. I don't know if that is a benefit or not because I haven't calculated the cost of all DLC vs Season Pass.

Re: AI doing strange things....

The workers have been incomplete and unreliable since day one (over a decade). If you're new to the series, you'll have to get used to the way the devs start a feature, but don't really finish it before moving on to the next one they won't finish.

Re: Could these new consoles close the gap with PC gaming?

To answer the OP, yes and no. Some people have a PC that is less powerful then the upcoming consoles, and some people have a PC that are more powerful. PC players have the potential to upgrade if needed where the console will remain unchanged. What I'm interested in, is just how the game performs on...

Re: Terrain Manipulation Rant

That's why I still love the Place Anywhere Mod on PC, before placing any objects on the map hit the Number 8 key on your keyboard and it will disable the terrain manipulation, meaning you can place whatever building or object you are trying to without it making mountains or gouging huge areas out o...

Re: Stockman - Feature requests and further development

I agree with you. If people like something, they'll think of ways to improve it to make it even better. If they didn't like it at all, they'd simply delete it and be done. I write mobile games, and I consider every bit of feedback (good and bad) as free advice, and an opportunity to improve. I've fi...
