It's strange that it has updated when you reload. I always read that everything needed to be kept in memory for things to grow. I wonder how it managed to store the information and then update it later.

It's good that we have plenty of choices in the game.

Play the base game maps if you want to reduce risk. Nothing is guaranteed when adding mods to the mix....or giants updates lol.

Sounds like a well thought out mod. You could have a look at the xml for other pallets to see if you can use any data from them. Should be in the [FS Install]->data->objects->pallets folder

You could look at the xml of a lime machine, and update your xml based on that. Make a backup of your files and experiment.
