Re: Map for cotton

Thanks for tipping me off on Newlin. It really just feels like north central Texas - takes me back. Going to log a lot of hours on that map.

The following update will be included: -6 completely new farms (2x sheep, 2x pigs, 2x cows) With the buildings from [LSZS] Farmerfivetom I finally get decent farms built -new bga -Revised sales outlets to be able to turn around bette...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Does anyone know what the update to Ungetsheim includes and if it will require a new save?

Re: organic farmer anyone?

Do I now? Wasn't it you who told me here on this forum, that you don't recommend playing a 3-day season because of weather and that it's recommended to play at least 6, which I do? Now tell me: what do you do in winter without fast forwarding? Because for me that's 6 days, let's be modest with 8 ho...

Re: organic farmer anyone?

Wait until your crops have germinated and then do one pass of herbicide. If that's too much work, then let courseplay do it for you. Unfortunately, courseplay isn't a console solution. And since workers don't spray where there aren't weeds, a field with sparse weeds in Seasons has to be manually sp...

Re: organic farmer anyone?

I’ve started an organic save on Greenwich valley on easy mode (sorry) just to simulate better prices for organic crops.constant fertilising gets on my nerves tbh so I thought I’d try something different. Oh not using lime either just cover crop, slurry and manure I am organic farming on Greenwich as...

Re: Mod maps and farmhouse monopoly

Generally, I like to be able to make my own yard - to the extent that one of the reasons I upgraded to PC was access to the map editor. Mostly because I don't always raise animals, pigs in particular, so I dislike having animal pens as a requirement. However, there are maps I can't improve (like the...

Re: Mod maps and farmhouse monopoly

Console solution is as follows:

1) start game in Multiplayer.
2) create and join farm #2, build a farmhouse where you like
3) Save game
4) load game in single player and allow farms to merge
5) both farmhouses are now available.

Working Speed Property?

I've been digging through the API doc on GDN looking for a property for working speed but have not located one. Does anyone know what this would be, or what it is called in the API if not working speed?

Re: House Rules - Self Imposed Limits

One of my peculiarities is that I try to operate farms at a tight margin. After a couple of years in seasons I get a decent idea of what the income/outlay looks like and take a loan with daily payments that will more or less break even with income over the course of the year, sometimes with a small ...

Re: FS19 Mod Search/Request!

Is there a mod that allows for hand lifting of pallets and bales only? I've tried using strongfarmer and the strength boost in f11, but I wind up accidentally tossing tractors when I am trying to get into them (both actions use the same button on my controller). I'd love to have the ability to do ha...

Re: Favorite map to play without Seasons mod?

The only map I play without seasons is No Man’s Land. I use that map for the “game” experience and all the others for the simulation or roleplay experience. I like doing start from nothing saves on it and growing until I can’t get the whole map harvested and replanted in a day anymore. It’s a nice c...

Re: Small Guide on PC's

I have an r5 2600 and a 1660 ti but only 8gb of ram. Generally I can run at very high settings with no issues but do get a stutter turning the camera once in a while. Would more ram overcome this? is it just the game’s limitations? Would I need to do more extensive upgrades to see a difference? As i...
