Re: [WIP] Lizard Flandria bicycle

How the bike going? I can’t wait till it is ready. It is nearly ready. Physics are all done, texturing almost (just need to add dirt to the tyres, and I've already prepped it for an update I will do. That update will contain a special trailer to pull behind it. Not sure if that would be useful, but...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Sadly won't be for consoles as it's too much to retexture...I was hopeful as we own one I normally don't comment on another modder's work. Because I also make mods I think that would be bad manners. But for one time I'm going to throw my principles out of the window.. Let's just say there is a reas...

Re: [WIP] Lizard Flandria bicycle

Put some work into making the dirt map. Still a lot to do, but I started working on the places where dirt would build up in real life. https://image.giants-software.com/1/joeppcka.jpg Also perfected some details, and got the lights working how I want them to. Physics are also getting better, the big...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Couple of threads back I saw some discussion on tension belts. It is impossible to make a trailer that straps down basegame vehicles without scripts. Whether an object is recognised by the straps depends on that object itself, not the trailer. It's something you have to include in the xml of the veh...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

What happens with the headers when you drive through hedges? On Oakfield you can drive the combine through, but certain headers get stuck! Of course, you can work round this by getting the header adaptor for a wheel-loader and lifting them over! :biggrin2: The other way to get around this is by jus...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

The map that dropped today is really nice. I’m kind of blown away by it. Out of nowhere, nice details, and it hits everything on my must have checklist. Wow is all I can say. This modder is a true artist. For real. Still he only gets a 3.5 star rating, what's that all about  That's not fair ...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

I agree here. I have dl maps after giants testing and found things out of wack. Bear in mind that Giants only tests for functionality issues, i.e. breaking the game. We're talking about errors and warnings in the log, shader problems, correct texture format, correct collision generation etc. They d...

If the author does an update the mod needs to be tested again to make sure it's okay
