New controls. Sidepanel and joysticks.. Any suggestions to what to map where?
https://image.giants-software.com/1/s8XevnKe.jpg With Covid19 making me stay at the home office all the time, I finally took the leap and bought a side panel and two joysticks to go with my momo racing wheel, with paddles and shift that just clicks in two directions kind of like an automatic gear s...

Re: A second chance - Yet another farm blog - Where noone else dared to farm
March was too cold for seeding, but April looks promising, with 5 degrees in the soil from the start. Weather forecast seems to indicate it won't get cold again either. A wider working width seeder would be great, but compared to the Hassia my Kuhn seeder rocks. As we're still waiting until summer t...

Re: Very simple, very cheap idea for the next FS
Me neither.. Placeables have been working well, and building my own farm has been fun. I haven't gotten a good feel about a ready made farm yet. And after getting Place Anywhere I could place them in good places too. Only issue is there are limited amounts of them and you need to juggle quite a bit ...

Re: Very simple, very cheap idea for the next FS
How about they just completely scrap the landscaping tools and allow the mappers more freedom, scrap all the placables as they just break the game. They should take it back to the good old days of 17 then improve on that. 19 was a mess at launch and still is That would be a huge step backwards for ...

Re: Courseplay and Offset Horizontal
I'm not using newest version so it might have changed but Ive had similar issues where it sets it wrong and when I correct it it keeps resetting it back.. So instead of altering it I've rather used other setting to drive to the side of the path created to counter it..

If you load the game without required mod you will lose it. Maybe the mod failed to load for some reason

Re: Tire or track rotation speed.
I've seen wheels in real life appearing to go the wrong way around. But in game the wheels are all perfectly round and equal so they can look like they're standing still while in real life you'd see it's not. I think this effect makes the tires look fake because they are too perfectly rendered..

Re: Very simple, very cheap idea for the next FS
I heard someone said it takes a year to make a good map. Sounds like it should be a lot of ways to simplify it. Google Earth for a start would be great. At least if they managed to add elevation too. I drove through a valley today and the farms had fields where you wonder if they cam drive a tractor...

November is here.. We've got £134.682 in the bank, more than covering our loan of £15.000. I think we have a bit of extra income from the BGA soon too. The current worth of our vehicle and equipment is £62.033, so our total worth is £181.715. Meaning the bank will allow us a loan of up to £90.857, w...

Re: Contracts and using your own tools
Your issue isnt really contract related. If you use a helper to do something requiring a resource and you have that resource set to helper buy in the options, the helper will buy the resource as he uses it and teleport it into the equipment as needed so the content in your equipment stays the same. ...

Seasons, sheep and MaizePlus - How to keep them healthy? (Sandy Bay)
Hi.. I thought all I needed to feed sheep was grass and water, and that hay was useful to use instead of grass because grass is not possible to store.. But in my Sandy Bay game where I enabled MaizePlus to check out what it was, there are four categories for sheep to eat: Grasssilage/Clover Silage H...

Re: Equipment years of production?
As said, most of the base game stuff is newish, so if you want to start before 2000, you need to grab the gear from mods. To for instance make a game valid for say 1985, you probably need mods for all the equipment you are using, and figuring out what mods exist for each equipment type with producti...
