Pick up dry grass, not fully dried hay, and it will work and make hay pellets.

Have you tried lifting them off the floor slightly at the sell point?

I know with the “straw harvest add on” that sometimes the pallets at the sell point need lifting off the floor slightly to sell.

I’m on Sussex farms with seasons. No hay / straw already on ground when starting game with the straw DLC enabled
