Re: Small map

Not sure exactly what you mean by small, but if you want small fields I recommend Cybuchowo.

Re: Fenceless Open Pastures

They are pretty small though, IMO. This is something that I hope can be included in the next version of the game. Seems like we should be able to paint an area to define it as a "roaming" area for animals.

The Fendt 4s is very fun to use. Those old Ursus tractors mentioned before look cool too. Haven't used them yet, but there are a ton of options available on those.

Haven't had a chance to check modhub today. What do you mean? Is it a Lizard tractor now?

Re: How many farms?

Welker is the farm I keep coming back to. After about 200 hours I only own two fields and I have a growing dairy/grain operation. Started from scratch and built a totally custom farm. I really think its that sense of "I built this from scratch" that keeps me so invested in this farm. At an...

Sounds cool, but I worry that the starting slot count/file size would be huge. Guess that wouldn't be an issue on pc...

Re: Two new maps for console today

Yup, but it's easy for me to wait for someone to make a map tour as mods usually come out in the am when I'm sleeping or at work. Polish maps are a dime a dozen now adays just like 3m cultivators, so I won't even bother with these maps. Plus sandy bay is working really well for me right now. You mi...

Re: Welker Farms - “the build your own farm” American Map?

Lighting is definitely an issue even with seasons, but after enough hours on the map you sort of get used to it

Any word on whether the Cybuchowo update requires a new save?

Re: Welker Farms - “the build your own farm” American Map?

Welker was the first map I played after seasons came out on console, and to this day I have not found another that I enjoy as much. There are other American maps that might be more visually appealing, but like the OP said, the flexibility of Welker is unparalleled. I started my own farm from scratch...

I don't enjoy the cramped UK maps for sim farming, but I'd love to work a farm like Oakfield in real life. Of course, Lone Oak would be great for real life or sim.

Licensing is always such an interesting topic with the complicated history of these companies. How would the licence for Allis Chalmers be acquired? I seem to remember them being somehow connected to AGCO...

But anyway, back on topic. I'd like to see the Case 495.

Re: Equipment years of production?

Some of the mods have it in their descriptions. Also, you can look it up if you want, and I do sometimes do that if I am interested enough. But yeah, it would be cool if that was in the shop description. That is one area where I think Giants has a lot of room for improvement.

Re: Small tractor fever

Love the idea, but yeah I always have to get something in the 150hp range to go along with it to make field work reasonable. Problem is I always have way too much money at the start. Maybe if I were to start on start from scratch that would force me to start small.
