Iowa Plains

I am really digging this map. I think my plan is to start a large scale hog operation and build an ethanol plant to make soybean meal to make hog feed. That hog barn is really nice.

Re: Looking for specific youtubers....

I personally like to watch RD Allen, he plays relatively realistic and the thing I enjoy most about him is that he is actually knowledgeable about real life farming.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

I was really hoping the Buck County update would come today. We’re supposed to have a big snow this weekend, would have been perfect.

Re: Does Anyone Still Use Plows?

Around here it’s mostly gone to no-till or strip till. We don’t have too worry much about the cold wet ground in the spring you guys up north have. We worry more about saving moisture.

Re: Does Anyone Still Use Plows?

I just thought it would be easier to group all shanked rippers into one category rather than listing all of the names of them.

Re: Does Anyone Still Use Plows?

In most parts of the US you won’t find a traditional moldboard plow being used. Mostly farmers use subsoilers now.

Re: Dear Giants, I want to feed my cows

We fed rolled corn and chopped dry alfalfa. This was also for steers on feed and not milk cows. I find myself mostly feeding steers in this game when using seasons.

Re: Precision Farming time consuming
