Re: Contracts disappearing?
I too am noticing contracts disappearing before you can accept them, or in the case of Harvesting contracts never even appearing, fields seem to just instantly go from Growing to Harvested as you advance from one day to the next or one month to the next. I noticed this beforehand too but only if yo...

Re: FS22: AKA... Sleep Simulator.
But I get that the fast growth is a well established play style in FS19 and that people may like that.. I guess it should be fairly easy to add back a growth rate option for people that disable seasons in settings, which is already possible, but every setting adds complexity. If growth rate differs...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
Why the hell are we English speaking customers having to rely on someone to translate this information over from the German forum when we have been calling out for some form of engagement from Giants since the game was launched and instead just been ignored? Noticed that too? :hmm: As mentioned els...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
Same. It's a risky strategy as personally I think it will put off a lot of new and casual players who don't have the time / don't want to sink into seasonal cycles, and so turning it off they'd think it would be like in previous games. I can't blame them. Skipping days will become really monotonous...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
At a casual glance that's how I'd do it -- crops grow in response to the environmental factors; sunshine, moisture, soil temperature etc. so it would make sense to model crop growth on seasons, not seasons on crop growth. To be clear: I do not know if GIANTS have done it this way I have no informat...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
Here is a comment from Stegei about it... https://forum.giants-software.com/viewtopic.php?f=874&t=185235&start=240#p1455098 translated: We have discussed growth internally several times. A return to the old system is out of the question for us. That means we are bound to 1 growth stage per ...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
All the "Seasons OFF" setting does is take away the seasonal requirements or restrictions for planting and crop type. So if you had 12 fields for example and you staggered the planting, you could be harvesting (indeed completing the whole growing cycle) every day. You would just be perfor...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
If you wish to play fs22 more like fs19, I think you can turn seasons off, so you can go back to seeding one day and harvesting the next day. I personally am really enjoying this game with seasons built into the game and have 100+ hours, maybe the first couple of years in game can be challenging bu...

Free placement mode is for free placement, not free purchase. So you can place buildings close to or inside of one another. {quote=Djfrost14 post_id=1452804 time=1639760257 user_id=174056] Anyone else having the problem where your forklift/front loader freaks out when you move pallets? Re: Feature suggestion - Minimap job progress
Yes. Very hard to spot what part of the field is covered for some jobs.. Especially annoying early on with small gear. Roller have large working width so easiest to roll after seeding. Weeding also have this issue which I guess can be avoided with plowing or spraying quick after seeding. I guess sp...

Re: Back to FS19
Yep. Heading back. Until the seasons/sleep/FS Classic grow period is resolved with a mod or word that Giants will not be looking into the issue, FS22 is more work/waiting than its worth for my playstyle at the moment. A lot of things I like about what they've done with FS22 but removing the "FS...

Re: I can't see where I've fertilized...
I will add that it was a lot easier to see where you have fertilized or sprayed in FS19 just by the discoloration of the soil than it has been in FS22. It's a lot more difficult to visually spot what you went over( especially with tall crops) now than it was. Have had to use the map filters to catch...

Good for you and them I guess. I've never said you should stop sending them money if that's what you want to do. It's a bit disconcerting that you "gladly" send them money (Gee, I'm reluctant to send money to companies so that they send me clothes or food but I still do it from time to ti...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game
I agree 100%, that's why I think they should add more configurable options for casual and more hard-core players. I've been saying that on here for years. Personally, I think the current version is kind of dumbed-down, but still enjoyable enough. The biggest takeaway I see with threads like this is...
