Re: Is anyone playing FS22? - Serious Question
I came late to the farm sim franchise. FS19 was my first one and it was pretty much flushed out when I purchased it, with lots of mods already available. I've logged well in excess of 1000 hrs since purchase. I never understood all the hullabaloo between FS17 and FS19 devotees and how so many people...

Re: Farming Simulator 2022 Announcement - Fan Thoughts
In the article is says they're using giants engine 9....is that a new engine or is it the same one from fs19? New version of the same engine I used Unity 2018.x.xxxx and 2019.x.xxxx the differences are huge. Now fast forward to Unity 2021... The point is it's the same engine but different versions ...

Re: Farming Simulator 2022 Announcement - Fan Thoughts
I'm actually finding it hysterically funny at how many people are commenting how bad FS22 is. Forums, YT comments, Reddit, FB pages, and Discord channels are full of it. I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion. But seriously, there's a 15 second (CGI) trailer, a blog post, a podcast, and ...

Re: Farming Simulator 2022 Announcement - Fan Thoughts
There's a potato farming equipment manufacturer in PEI, Canada that featured in the news about a year or so back here in Canada regarding their excitement at getting into the Farming Simulator game. Since that never happened (yet) and we got the GRIMME equipment I'm thinking that might be one of the...

Re: Oxygendavid poll up!
I voted Marwell Manor. It was the first map I downloaded and played on FS. Reasons? 1. It was my first game on FS. 2. It was based on a real location. 3. It was English and since I've not lived there for 30 years I got nostalgic. 4. It is just a really good map that looks and feels realistic. My sec...

Re: Forestry dlc?
So I get 2 machines for 10% of the cost of the base game? I'll stick with supporting the excellent modders. C'mon Giants how about some game functionality tweaks or something. DLC like this smacks of a Paradox strategy to milk the followers without providing real tangible value. Thankfully it's not...

Re: Medicine Creek = Seasons
I've only ever played FS19 on seasons and used to run 3 days but now I run 6 days all the time.
I enjoyed Medicine Creek, I loved building my own farm from scratch (inspired by Kerbo's series on Youtube) but it's a real hard slog with the harder economy.

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
So I'm four years in (6 day seasons) and building a nice beef & dairy cattle operation with approximately 52 game hours and I'm still loving it. In all that time my only small gripe is with the terrain angles used. I just wish they were higher. But unlike other maps with similar angles, I've car...

Yup. Solved my problem. Thanks!Illinois Farmer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 7:23 pm I do 40 percent hay and 40 percent silage then 20 percent straw or just 50 50 hay and silage.
I just used a silage bale and a hay bale and got TMR. I'll stick with that and just use my straw for manure.

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
Mixer does not accept grass. The mixture is silage, hay and straw. In the console is like this, do not know if any mod on pc change it. Do you load in that order? Silage, hay then straw? I followed the in-game help file - 2 hay, 1 straw then silage and it won't let me load silage (lose or bale) Nex...

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
I removed some mods, nothing appeared to work so I removed everything I had and reloaded them. I've been able to get silage, hay or straw bales to load now into multiple mixers. However, depending on the order I do it I always seem to get one type that cannot load. I'm thinking that's more down to m...
