Thanks for the advice everyone. I now understand a little more about the impact of how long a season lasts. I think I'm going to try 6 day on times 5 and go from there. If I start to run out of time to do the jobs I need to, I'll switch to 9 day seasons.

The only sollution is if you are on PC that you use/enable place anywhere function in GC mod. If you are on console its sadly problem that Giants did not solve, yet. Unfortunately I'm on console.
