That's how it was in previous games, wasn't it, arable farming being barely profitable? The game makes you do tedious things you don't always enjoy, like forestry or silage so that you can fund things you enjoy, like driving tractors and harvesters.

Billboards are a real life thing. I think the argument is that things people don't like in real life don't need to be reflected in games. Well, fair enough, while it's actively snowing, there should normally be at least some snow on the ground.

The prices of buildings have always bugged me. First the game extorts 150k (was it 250k in FS19?) from you just to be able to fast forward time. Then, it extorts money for sheds which are purely cosmetic in the unmodded game. Even the dog costs whooping 2500. Like, why?

Not an immediate solution, but it could make sense to migrate to Linux eventually, if you don't feel like installing new Windows versions. FS22 seems to have positive reviews on Protondb, so it's likely to run fine, especially if you have a Steam version.

Hi guys, can you tell me what happens in the game to sunrise and sunset times throughout the year? I've been watching some videos and the duration of night and day felt somewhat off, not really corresponding to the month, but I cannot pinpoint concrete examples yet.
