Which game are you talking about? F22, F19 or some else? If F19, do you have some mods installed that can cause it to switch. On my standard installation of F19 and F22 reversing was done automatically and didn't need to press space. Some specific mod changed it. I think Vehicle control or somethin...

Because is pretty stupid that i have to push space bar every time if i want to change driving forwards ore backwords.
