Re: Equal and simultaneous ModHub releases for Consoles/Cloud and PC
This is the only one i will always fail to understand. Its totally their right, of course, but ill never understand it.
Often when asked it’s the previous harassment that’s got them pi** at the console community. I use to help with a page that shared mods by digging up their original links and ...

Re: Who creates best or super high quality tractor mods?
Karlfarms and casearias modding are quite good. Jhhg has some pretty detailed tractors with tons of options and stylings from different regions of the world. Bcbuhler has a pretty good one and loads of other really great other mods. Ey modding has nice tractors but they’re not as option heavy as ...

Re: Spring canola
what happened to the Geo mods? is that not a thing anymore? Was a reason given?
It was part of a mod. A part giants deemed unnecessary once they added seasons to their game. Ya know, everyone has the exact same climate and temperatures and wild boars, cakes, roller coasters, and sailboats are ...

What’s a solid playable base game and how is it different than what they’ve been doing?cheechako wrote: Sat May 02, 2026 9:24 pm Nah. Giants should focus on a solid playable base game. They should encourage, enable, and support mod authors who like to do the more advanced stuff.
This would be better than whatever it is they do now.

Re: Coop Game suddenly crashing, while it worked fine before
Historically I’ve had that issue when a piece of machinery doesn’t agree with a script that tries to make it do something different than the base game. Specifically autodrive or courseplay operating tractors that would freeze the game up just like that. Sell or buy stations that deal in huge ...

Re: Thoughts on the various silage methods FS25?
I have a question for the silo guys. Doesn't it take more real world gaming time to go about it this way rather than baling/wrapping?
Haven't done it yet but want to. I'm guessing you need at least a front end loader with proper attachments so you'll have to spend time moving the grass around ...

Re: Plan for FS28
Totally reasonable, but the point that was being made still stands... You would have no leg to stand on complaining that you bought the game and sheep manure wasnt in it; sheep manure was never promised, sheep manure has not been in previous games, and nobody mentioned the possibility of sheep ...

A figure or a finger? Sounds like it would be a mod that changed something.

Re: Plan for FS28
You just need to open your eyes and take a look around on YouTube, Twitch, etc. Most gamers want a simple game, not a hardcore real simulation. See what happened with “Cattle and Crops”?
Causation does not equal correlation. The only fact that you can derive from FS streamers playing simple and ...

Re: Plan for FS28
Yes, crop rotation can give a big bonus in yield...if you compare to monocultures as baseline. But monocultures are not the standard to compare against. Basic crop rotation is general practice for every educated farmer around the world. The yields resulting from that can be seen as baseline ...

Re: Plan for FS28
Would be great, but remember that Giants wants to keep the game playable for all type of gamers. Not only the hardcore simulation gamers, but also the ###### gamer. The ones that plays the game without seasons active, or any of the more realistic settings. As soon as Giants moves away from that ...

Quit projecting and stop trying to be my dad - I'm probably three times your age if your avatar image is realistic in any way.
Projecting is an overused word by twenty something’s and teens. Gazebeard, I am your father, I should have given you more spankings. That is me twenty some years ago, I ...

Or they could do full QA testing and identify it themselves before releasing their product.
Personally I detest this modern habit of shifting product testing onto the consumer instead of doing it in-house.
QA test against what, a quintillion combinations of other free content? I agree in ...
