Re: Alma
Crash, Someone would have to remind me what the setting is to optimize the ps4 visuals. Ever since I had that prompt awhile back I have had zero issues with maps and lighting. Celobuki iowa plains had a road texture that was fuzzy in the distance but Alma is one of the best looking north american ma...

Re: how do you guys play your maps?
I start off with IH86 series, farmall m, and field boss. Tlx 1986. Small equipment and implements. I've yet to have animals in any farm sim game or map lol. Or anything considered large. Tractors, equipment, anything. Started Alma harvest last night. My goal is to do it all finally. Last night I rea...

Re: how do you guys play your maps?
I'm a map jumper. I always see greener grass or start picking apart aspects that are not how I like. 17 Lone Oak was my perfection map. 19 was Griffin . 22 is Alma. Gonna be hard to pull me from this map

Re: Calling all tater freaks
@Earnest Pea thanks for the mod suggestions. Definitely some nice stuff once I decide how big I wanna pursue potatoes @Rico thanks for the visual aid. I always wondered how you could heap potatoes and they not get all messed up. That video helped jog my memory of this pack containing a potato box ht...

Re: Alma
@Lawma I'm not sure what they call themselves. I live a couple of hours southeast of there and I'm not even sure what we're called. From Missouri? It just got me thinking what do people from missouri refer to themselves as. From pennsylvania we are pennsylvanians l o l I should not have specified p...

Re: Calling all tater freaks
That. Is an interesting looking mod, I will save the link in case I get that hardcore into it. Thanks for the info rico. I wasn't sure if having them in heaps covered up was realistic or not and it makes sense needing to keep the climate maintained so they do not go bad. In generally how are potatoe...

Calling all tater freaks
How do you handle potatoes after harvest? Do they get sold immediately? Do you store them until an appropriate time to sell? And if so how? I see the root crop heap mod and you can cover them. Is that a realistic way of storage or is it only in buildings, or not at all? I understand what the games a...

Re: Alma
Ya I get what you’re saying about the trees coming in and out of focus after we delete them. But I’ve been in and out of the save multiple time. I think the peas will be ready tomorrow so will see what happens with the helper. I'm just glad I wasn't the only one seeing ghost trees lol. Hopefully it...

Re: Alma
@Ag Hauler All 3 farms are well done. The starting farm was the easiest for me to part with. The other 2 felt so well done it would be a shame for me to try and do anything nicer, because it wouldn't lol. Your spot on with it feeling like the awesome 4x maps I see online. The talent and patience rea...

Re: Alma
Oh wow. I just spent the weekend here, and I might be hooked. I started on FM, and I love the fact that the starter farm plot is bare ground so I can build it out like I want. Is the round pit in the SE corner the manure pit? I love the wide roads and open corners, the rolling terrain, and the feel...

Re: Alma
I use the black sheep tree remover (can’t thing of the name). Used a field creator mod cultivator ripped it all apart by creating a new field. The worker is in the versatile 935 pulling the jd drill the 12.8m one. He’s perfectly fine until he gets to the area that the tree line was. He lifts and tu...

Re: Alma
Also what were you trying to get the workers To Do?
I had issues with one of the old school looking cultivators. Maybe it was a plow but the worker was very erratic but when I switched the implement they were fine.
