Kingmods.net is a bad site?
Has anyone else noticed the insane amount of pirated mods available for download off of Kingmods.net? I've never actually downloaded anything from that site, but there really is an insane amount of stolen mods there. I even noticed a bunch of my mods were on there, stuff I have only ever shared on ...

Re: SKY pack DLC
So I am all for machine packs like this but unless they take a page from SCS and go back and start bringing all their existing in-game machines up to scratch, we will have 12 machines that look and behave (if as promised) so much more realistic which sounds nice until you realize it will leave all ...

Re: Who creates best or super high quality tractor mods?
I knew it was a long shot but I absolutely get it. No harm in asking tho :) You should totally take a pic and share the next time you see anything like the above mentioned trucks. Real workhorses.. those and the old Macks!
Haha agreed!
But back to ewrankend's original topic, what kind of ...

Re: Who creates best or super high quality tractor mods?
I do like the Ford L9000, there are a lot of them around here, usually on chicken farms or as straight bed trucks. I will admit I'm not much of a truck modder, even though I love trucks. I've seriously considered truck modding (always wanted to make a cotton module tipper truck), but unfortunately ...

Re: Who creates best or super high quality tractor mods?
For US equipment my picks are
JHHG Modding
Custom Modding
Casearias Modding
Jolly Farms Modding
Karlfarms
And EY Modding, & Rooster for smaller equipment.
As for EU equipment, I don't know much beside Dince otherwise, since I rarely do European maps.
Some of the modders listed though do ...

Re: Who creates best or super high quality tractor mods?
The modded tractor quality varies a lot and I want really smooth experience and polished looks that fit at least the standards of base game models.
From my experience Dince and Custom modding are toptier when it comes to quality. I also like the Edomods italian tractors, but thats basically it ...

Re: Should soil simulation be deeper in future Farming Simulator games?
They really need crop quality to be visible. I mean, c'mon, only the best fields are completely uniform across say, 80 acres of cropland. Moisture, soil type, nutrients, compaction, etc., these all affect what the plants look like, how healthy they are, and in return, your yields and all. Especially ...

Is the clip distance getting lower??
Hey everyone, I just got a mod out of testing and for some reason now GIANTS is telling me that the default clipDistance needs to be set at 300, for every part of the model, starting with the mainComponent1.
This was never how it was in the past (I have had many mods released where I didn't set the ...

What is the point of Boars in the Vredo pack?
Does anyone know? I don't own the pack because it looks really boring as a US player, other than the boars. But, if you can't hunt them like you would in real life, how do you keep them from "destroying your crops" like the DLC description says?
Like, seriously, why would the most destructive ...

What makes a map great?
I'm working on a map of a specific area, and I would like to ask y'all what you think is important for a modHub quality map to have.
Here are the conditions, so far at least:
1: The map is a 4X US map of northern Alabama
2: It features real terrain data
3: It will likely have custom growth and ...

Re: Why would a mod come out of testing from GIANTS worse than before?
As GIANTS told me in a messenger ticket, since my mod failed on one of the first tests it never made it to the console test, where some other issue was detected. Basically since the mod goes through multiple "tests" if it fails on the first test it never gets tested in the console test, etc., which ...

Why would a mod come out of testing from GIANTS worse than before?
I am having weird issues with my mods failing testing for reasons that weren't there when I submitted the mod. It has happened multiple times to me (on the same mod, strangely!), where GIANTS said something was wrong, I fixed it, they then say something else is wrong, which I fix, and the THIRD time ...

Re: Combine header!
What header are you using with it? It could be an issue with the header, or possibly an issue with the mod "Tool Height Control For Headers", if you are using that. I have had similar issues with both before.

What's the point of that?britt5 wrote: Thu Jan 29, 2026 11:04 pm So, I'm not very realistic with my farming. I use the government subsidies mod to make some big money quickly.
Modders have infinite money, and we don't need to take it from taxpayers either.
