Re: Giants better make row crop tires and slow moving vehicle signs and option on every machine

by the same token row-crop duals are in general decline in NA, as there is a steady shift more towards the European etc type single tyres and low sidewall (LSW) >1000+ width tyres.

Re: FarmCon 21

If you play on 1x Speed then yes one year in game will be 288 hours in real life. However as was said during Farm Con there are more options for game speed this year and you can play at slower then 1x. They quoted you could spend a weekend playing 1 day. So that would indicate there is a 0.5x optio...

Re: Seasonal gameplay in Farming Simulator 22 - new screenshots & info!

so I have a question for someone at Giants, Have you overhauled the vehicle and equipment depreciation methods to now fit with the "12day" year, both in terms of depreciation driven by age and that of hours of work. i.e. in fs19 etc 1 day was 1 year, thus for something to be 5 years old it only need...

Re: FS22 Multi Terrain Angle Update?

Giants: We won't do it because of the outdated hardware that we still support, and it looks bad. b101uk: Hook line and sinker. says the person who thinks only mod makers have the technical knowhow to do it, which was the erroneous implication of your original post, rather than it being other consid...

Re: FS22 Multi Terrain Angle Update?

Maybe the giants devs should watch the tutorial put out by modders, so they can learn how to do it. But, I think they're busy not completing something else. it NOT a case of Giants being stupid and unable to do it, it is the fact it take more hardware resources, something that most mod makes don't ...

Re: Header questions

an alternative is the JD T560 combine and the 9m Rostselmash drapper stream 900 with its built-in trailer. you get a relatively compact combine (width), and no having to mess around with header trailers, and it works when when you have relatively large fields but relatively tight access (roads, gate...

Re: What is the largest Non-articulated tractor in FS19?

1:They have the correct hp rating and an option for more. 2: closing a road down to cross it is a pretty extreme example most places we have worked rurally we can get it across with tires or mats before a car even comes an in town you get a few guys to stop traffic for a couple minutes at most. 3: ...

Re: Nmc bulldozer/ Steiger mods

Pipe laying for ground moisture control could also be a use for a ripper of that size. a full size tracked drainage trencher, would lay pipes (clay or plastic perforated pipe) faster, deeper and would allow pipes to have the correct fall over distance so water would flow through them in a specific ...

Re: Nmc bulldozer/ Steiger mods

https://youtu.be/jZzMdfLo5wU I’ve seen some folks questioning the use of a D-11 in a farm context, so I thought id throw this up in case someone needs a reason to role play owning one. but deep ripping is something that is done at most one per generation or to correct past erroneous farming methods...

Re: What is the largest Non-articulated tractor in FS19?

You guys are all forgetting the newest beast. The $1.5 million+ 1500 hp NMC D11 1: is a mod, thus excluded, given the unrealistic HP values that can be used in mods. 2: it not an agricultural tractor by definition. 3: there is no 1500hp D11 IRL, they are all sub <1000hp even going by gross HP, yet ...

Re: UK Farmers - why no love for Valtra?

use to see lots of Valmet, then Valtra Valmet and finally Valtra near me in mid Shropshire, as there was a dealer 4 miles away that sold them along with Fendt, Zetor, Claas combines, etc that was an independent. they are now primarily a Claas dealer, but you still see quite a lot of Valtra around fr...

Re: Why no numberplates on vehicles

In the UK, farm trailers (farm specific tipper trailers, and other trailed appliances) only need one number plate of a tractor registered to that farm, and they can be used with ALL tractors of that farm, it is one of the few vehicles combinations in the UK that can have different number plates on t...

Re: John Deere 9RX bad sound quality in new DLC

That's what horns sound like on tractors unfortunately. Big strong machines, Dinky little horn. I have always wondered if it is industry standard or simply no manufacturer wants to bother putting in a big air horn. vehicle regulations in many country's (the horn must work with the engine off and th...

Re: US Configurations

For the record "EU" or "Euro" configurations don't exist. Things like the striped warning signs differ from country to country whether in the EU or not. Hence why I suggested "limited" customisation, as if you catered for every country's individual need there would be hundreds of configurations and...

Re: For All You SkidSteer Masters Out There...

the last ones I drove were Bobcat, Case and NH, all with foot peddles for the bucket/boom, the steering was either via two central conventional tiller levers or a single unified T tiller (pull backwards, push forwards, twist left/right). I preferred two tiller levers setup over the T tiller setup, a...
