Re: Censorship

The intended goal is not to flame GIANTS however, the goal is get them to reconsider their [Wont Fix] stance on just about everything that isn't a game-breaker. First they archive all existing bug reports when the new patch is released, and just tell us to resubmit any bugs we encounter. And when we...

Re: Censorship

Fair enough, but they are not tolerating criticism either way. The end effect is the same regardless, because it is locked it will fall to the bottom of the pile.

Re: Censorship

I'm not sure it's about that. They just don't like criticism, when they know damn well that it is all deserved. I have enjoyed this series since the very beginning, and it hurts to see them go downhill like this. It's also worth noting that there are quite a few threads over at the german forums wit...

Re: Censorship

A sentence about not buying future content until they decide to care about the base game is against the rules?

Censorship

Did they really just lock a criticism thread? Some proper censorship going on right here, except that they don't do the same on the german forums.

Re: Stirred up the hornet's nest

They, like all other companies, have to decide what to focus their time and money on. I get that it can be annoying and sad that they wont fix certain bugs but that's jsut bussiness, you got a budget and a time table that you need to stick to to make patches, make dlc's and of course go to conventi...

Re: Stirred up the hornet's nest

Most of them would require around 5 - 10 minutes to fix. Then maybe you can do it for free? Piece of cake, right? It's GIANTS game. It's their decision what to do and not do. Live with it. True enough, but it is also my money to do with as I please. I would consider doing it for free, but they alre...

Stirred up the hornet's nest

I just received a warning by Guil for making a few comments on the many [Wont Fix] bug reports. I think it is sad that GIANTS is abandoning their existing content, to presumably focus on future content and game-breaking bugs only. Most of the models and texture issues did not occur in FS 17, but got...

Re: [KNOW ISSUE] John deere S790 bug

I wouldn't count on it. They would much rather spend time making paid content instead.

Re: [WON'T FIX] Fendt 1000 series model issue

I called it. It seems strange that most of the model and texture issues won't be fixed, because in most development teams modelers don't do any coding. But I guess the modelers are too busy making models for future DLCs, because updating the existing models isn't lucrative after all. I hope this sho...

I wouldn't count on it. They have ignored most of the texture issues since release.

Re: [1.3 Prep] Bug Report Archiving

Most of the issues have not been fixed, despite having been posted repeatedly. So honestly, why the hell should we even bother? At this rate GIANTS can keep the upcoming DLC. I won't be buying any of it, nor will I be buying any future games with this attitude. To say that we should just repost all ...

They fixed a big fat pile of nothing

None of the reported interior texture issues have been fixed. It's been a month since the beta and practically nothing has changed. Well done.

Edit by Guil, watch the language please.
EDIT(Lethian): Locking and moving this topic since it's not a bug report.
