Re: Grimme DLC Thoughts
My biggest frustration with the new grimme pack is that there isn’t a option on the SE75-55 to have a standard direct harvest intake (which in real life is included in 99% of machines sold) so we can directly harvest potatoes without first windrowing, additionally the SE harvesters (including the se...

Re: Precision Farming time consuming
In my game at least the DLC offers the possibility of up to 125% yield assuming you get all the requirements in the field sorted and planted the right crop vs soil type. My understanding was that the extra 25% isn’t possible without the dlc. I could be wrong but that’s how it seemed to work in my ga...

Re: The hopeless state of Grimme and potato equiptment on FS19, and the mess they made with the new Grimme Pack.
Team fsi with help from Grimme made this, not giants. This is probably from the 2018 range not the current range All of the machines mentioned where available in 2018, Grimme does not alter it's machines or models on a regular basis, most of these machines are 10++ years old. The problems are mainl...

The hopeless state of Grimme and potato equiptment on FS19, and the mess they made with the new Grimme Pack.
I don't know if I'm the only one, But I've constantly been frustrated by the lack of realism with Grimme products in FS19, both from a function and feature perspective. So lets look at each machine one at a time. Grimme SE260 Harvester. In real life the "SE" range of harvesters claim to fa...

Re: I found a Easter egg alluding to a antique tractor DLC
They will have to release some implements to go with them, a bulldog will look pretty silly with a 20m boom hanging off the back.
There is very little small equipment in the game suitable for 30-60hp tractors.

Re: Help with Stara sprayer
I always keep herbicide in the spray tank, that way when I arrive at a crop the worker knows what to do automatically regardless of folded or unfolded.

[quote=eric21 post_id=1090633 The vital component is that Glysophate which is an active agent as its convenient and incredible.
[/quote]
There is no glyphosate in the game, only a cocktail of at least 15 other more dangerous selective herbicides.

Real life workers are sometimes not much better than these in game ones.

Re: Machine engine options question
In real life manufacturers often use the same chassis for 2-4 different engine horsepowers. Usually they are all the same engine just turbo and fueling changes to make more power. In other cases a tractor chassis may only be released with a single engine tuning option. So in the game this is reflect...

Re: Do harvesters fill up too quick?
In real life, most potato harvesters with storage bunkers be it 1,2 or 4 row would usually have a bunker capable of harvesting 200-500m of row before needing to unload. A good crop varies from 50 to 100T per hectare depending on a great deal of factors. I don’t know how that relates in game. A grain...

I find almost all “computer game” forums to have a certain element of toxicity, and moreso than most other hobby’s. At least we have an excuse though...
None of the cab filters in the game tractors are carbon type so we are all full of digital fertilizer dust and covered in digital herbacide.

Re: Subsoiler ... confusing!
Yeah i guess if I wanted to get serious about all the things that have been altered from realty to suit “computer game balancing” I’d probably go mad and shoot myself. I do enjoy the game just find all the cultivation implementations to have been horrifically simplified if not completely unrecogniza...

Re: The birds
The addition of the birds is great, but, at least where I live, I see most birds show up when your cultivating, ploughing or mulching in the paddock. Sometimes by the 100’s. And they get a lot closer than what fs19 shows, often just move out of the way by 5-10m till you go past then go straight behi...

Re: Subsoiler ... confusing!
I’m hoping now Giants has split up some of the cultivators in the store that come 21 or whatever they will make the cultivators only capable of what they are in real life, and thus require different cultivation for different types of crops. (I think getting too deep into soil types just yet might be...

Re: Subsoiler ... confusing!
So basically the subsoiler will remove the “require ploughing “ state the same as a plough would but it leaves a cultivated top. That’s what it does in fs19. In real life a subsoiler is used to break up the soil structure either ready for deep cultivation or to remove a plough or hoeing pan. It tend...
