Re: Why?!

I wondered where he had gone to, Capt.Ass's sense of humour might not have been to everyone's taste but he was very friendly, helpful and, imho, an all round decent kind of bloke. Like Herrman says, if this is true (and I can find out as I have spoken to him elsewhere in the past) then I too will be...

Re: downloaded mods screw up original Hagen map??

If a fool is ignorant to the fact he is a fool does that make him a wise man?

Being banned for 2 much aggressiveness? That's a bit harsh (aggressive) isn't it? I guess we all must be donkeys and not notice the wise men then! :hi:

Re: two mods that dosn't work with each other, how to fix?

you will find your log in the same folder as the mods folder, for Windows it's users/[username]/documents/farmingsimulator 2013/ Copy the contents of that and paste it as a reply here but use a spoiler to save space!

Re: downloaded mods screw up original Hagen map??

found the problem IT WASN'T IN THE LOG FILE lol if you drop folders with content for implantation into maps into the /mod/ folder sometimes it can corrupt the cache files the game uses (and forgets to delete between loads) Solution seems to be to copy the entire contents of the /mod/ out then run t...

Re: For those using futterlager

You, Bob, did a lot of work with your textures etc., work which others bypassed by just taking the potato/rape shed and adding other fruits instead of potato and rape. So, good Karma to you and keep up the good work. We need a futterlager that is useful and also an addition to the scenery, not just ...

Silage clamps scale.

I've been looking on line (and we all know that the internet never lies! ) and it seems that Giants kinda got the scale of silage clamps wrong. Now I can understand why, size of maps, amount of chaff needed etc. etc. but I do have a lot of cows on one of my farms (15,000 +) and it is an eterna...

Re: downloaded mods screw up original Hagen map??

I'm thinking of using this giants editor, is it easy to use? Errm is driving a 40 tonne truck easy to do? It is if you know what you're doing of course. I have a lot of experience of 3D editors so I picked it up very easily, I would say jump right in and give it a go because if you make a mess of i...

can you post a copy of your log.txt when the game crashes then the clever-bods here will be able to see what is happening and tell you what is causing the crash.

Re: Placeable Mods Issue

I simply left click on the .zip and Windows will show you what's inside, if it's more .zips then more investigation is needed. BTW notepad++ is a free software that will allow you to see the contents of .xml, .lua and loads more much easier as it keeps each line of code separate and also numbers them.

Re: downloaded mods screw up original Hagen map??

Well, when you're sick and go to the doctor, you try to answer to what the doctor asks you, don't you ? Do you need to find out a medical encyclopedia what's your problem? Or explain your symptoms to the doctor and make him do his works? And if he sends you for an examination, do you have to unders...

Re: For those using futterlager

Hi Buligo and thank you very much. Mike (Cpt.Ass) is right, the shed just didn't look right in game so I scaled it on the "X" and "Z" planes to the point where it was almost square and scaled the fill plane down to fit. I didn't want an overly tall looking building because it wou...
