Re: Why Farming Simulator?

I love all kinds of Simulations more than any other games. But at the same time the graphics and animations are superb. The game play can be a puzzle to start with low finances and build your farm up. Enjoy the many forms of real life based machinery. But you know what? I also get a feeling of conte...

Re: driveable mixer

I swear the original drive able version used to show a percentage as you filled it. So 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 then 30% of whatever commodity. I got rid of mine as it didn't seem to have this but just showed a constant 100%. I continued with the one where you hitch it to a tractor. Sometimes changes are ...

Re: 1050 Ti and FS games

I just got the 1050 ti and it should be no problem. Even if it doesn't want to work with one of my DSub only monitors. Just hope the adaptor I ordered works, coming on a Bank Holiday with free Prime delivery too. Way to do it..... I bought a swanky puter chair so no spare funds for a new monitor to ...

Re: Upgrading for fs19?

What's wrong with just using the DVD Tray to hold drinks? Some folks just want all the luxury items. Mind, some have no DVD tray and I'm thinking about losing it next build too. Just use my external one.

Re: Upgrading for fs19?

I run an unlocked and overclocked Anniversary Intel dual core, GTX 550ti 1GB, 8Gb RAM with Farming Simulator 2017 and at the same time watch a live stream on the other monitor. I am sure we'll still be able to do this with Farming Simulator 2019. But if I can I will upgrade to quad core at some poin...

Re: FS19 speculation

I just hope it hasn't taken 1-2 years simply to do the graphics and 1-2 maps. I thought that sunset one looked a little plastic but the rest were acceptable. I would like to see more content and a few fixes. The main one being some synchronising of the data when a map maker makes an odd shaped field...

Re: Oakfield farm and Courseplay

It doesn't matter what it has, it's a personal choice. As a farmer he/she makes that choice. My choice is to open up the field and I have done so. If others wish to leave it that is up to them. I also turned back on some of the fields set for no missions. I can correct the problems where the crop go...

Re: Oakfield farm and Courseplay

But first off I opened the editor and got rid of the trees in the middle, too much messing about to cut them down and cart away. No need to get rid of the trees, Courseplay can handle those just fine. Their is a problem! When using Courseplay it does all the field but the bit in the middle of the f...

Re: Oakfield farm and Courseplay

TBH I had the same problem and just saved a Course after I recorded the outside perimeter. But first off I opened the editor and got rid of the trees in the middle, too much messing about to cut them down and cart away. I got rid of the grass and stuff from the middle too. Then went into the map inw...

Re: What is your favorite map and why?

Without a shadow of a doubt, mine is " The Valley The Old Farm ". Raisable ramps to drop grass in for silage. Lighting in the animal feed stations. An attic area with an arched entrance and wooden drawbridge to drive a vehicle in. Green translucent panels at the cow shed that can be raised...

Re: 1 Fert state versus 3 fert state.

Weeding is a fantastic way to cover one of the 3 states without paying for fluids or using up all your manure. It really pays for itself and if I have a few fields I often purchase 2 of them. You can only weed on the first stage of growth. All you pay for are the wages and fuel if you hire someone t...

Re: What's the point of having cows??

I get my farm up and running well before I introduce the animals. But when I do their's a certain satisfaction in having them in there to care for and feed. I know many farmers in the real world (family and friends) who own quite big farms in some cases. They almost never eat the meat of their own a...
