They do not need the mod installed. Once you change, then save it. That is the current condition of the map. If you upload or share it with someone else it will stay as you changed it.


EDIT: On re-reading your text, I am not certain I understood the question correctly.

One of the things this mod does is allow you to alter field crop with the push of a button. https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=us&mod_id=69742&title=fs2017 I would imagine you need to start game, use mod to make changes, then save game. Now always start with that save.

Today, The Valley had a new resident move in. He is working out of Johnson Farm. He enjoys moonlight walks, sandy beaches and the smell of manure in the morning. He will fit right in.
