Re: How do I "easily" remove trees from Gold pack map?

i know how you feel but its a case of extensive manual labor, i'm working the 'glenlivet estate' map and removing all the tangled up over tree-ed population has taken over a hundred hours so far. don't get me wrong its a nice map but theres so many trees that have been planted so close together that...

Re: Lumbering

its well worth it just clearing badly placed trees on a map to make your fields more accessable can be very profitable: an oak tree trunk goes for £35k the branches for another £20k an intact ash carried on the back of your buaffalo can go for £14-£15k belive me it all adds up just clearing a single...

Re: help a newbie

i can tell you where to go; the bottom left hand corner past the resteraunt and by the large field think its field 13 just next to it you will see a rather small lumberyard just past the oil derricks.
if you have a physical copy of the game check out the manual page 24/25

sticking with 15

Well i've had a look at FS17 on you tube watched Landykid et all playing it and ... i'm actually quite disapointed with it, most of the farming game play has become secondary to the supporting game and now it seems much harder to make a profit and really enjoy the game. So i'm sticking with FS15, no...

Re: Ploughing up Grassland

do it all the time and its profitable, especially where the maps fields are small and theres way too much grass. don't worry about it everybody does it, anyway it gives you valuable ploughing practice. may i recomend using two ploughs; the stock red one for marking out the boundry and the larger gre...

Re: Need help with plowing

I've just finished the major plowing on 'hard working 2' by the woodman, all of it was manual and i didn't need 'harold' once, ok,its taken me about a hundred hours of game time but i'm done, tip: use the green stock plough not the smaller red one it works a lot better. I feel its best to work manua...

Re: Great Demand

Normally i'll stock pile and wait for a demand to happen then spend a full hour getting the best price i can, then resume stock piling. But It dosent hurt to sell without a demand if you keep watch for a good price, but the way to go is logging! there are 'great profits' to be made from a few loads ...

and , in some cases, depending on which map you are on: watering your animals. be aware that some maps don't come with water triggers and refill troughs like westbridge hills does, but there are hydrant and water mods available to down load from the mod sites.

Re: Stump chipper

its quite simple press the 'B' button, that starts the grinder rotating then its just a matter of lowering it onto the stump, make sure your tractor has enough horse power to both operate the grinder and move 190hp is more than enough.

Re: Large scale vs medium scale vs small scale

for a small scale experience try 'manor farm', its small tight and needs a lot of work despite its size. I've had to clear trees from hedge rows and lanes in order to get equipment through, i've ploughed up half the fields to get a decent return and, because chris7710 only surrounded the map with tw...
