Re: Most satisfying parts of Farming Simulator
I think cultivating is my favorite activity, with a wide cultivator, turning all those messy harvest roots or all those plowed furrows back into nice, smooth dirt.

Re: FS19 Missions or lack of them
I’ve gone round and round with missions over time. In the last year, I’ve only done missions for the one field I’m about to buy, working to produce as big a yield as possible, then buying it before the harvest. If the AI planted a root crop, I don’t touch it until next time around, till it’s somethi...

Lost my trees too. Never touched either sign near the store, the one for trees had already been removed by an update before I started. Oh, well, this will be my prairie map. Won’t have to worry about where to put that sawmill now.

Re: farm subsidies
Cheating a Simulator 😂 Unrealistic is not the same thing as cheating. If it was we’d all be cheats in Farming Simulator as there are so many aspects that are unreal. First hour of Hagenstedt on FS13 years ago, I go to change the seed from Wheat to Barley in my seeder, figuring I’d have to empty the...

Re: farm subsidies
A beginning amount is easily justified if you’ve put in a few hundred hours on a previous map. Estimate the value of your previous assets, consider them sold, start with that amount on your new farm. I’ve done that a couple times without feeling I “cheated”.

Re: For the factory lovers
My Spanish-speaking landscaper holds his phone up to our sprinkler system control box to be able read the settings in Spanish. I was amazed.

Re: Giants: Please add place anywhere
I had high hopes for 19’s placeables and terraforming, but after fooling around with it, and new maps appearing with animal areas and buildings already placed as an option, the writing was on the wall for the future of those two features. Placeables on 19 took a big step backward from 17.

Re: More Field Stages
I have a patience limit on working fields which, if exceeded, turns FS into less like fun and more like work. Currently I cultivate with the big blue Lemken cultivator, seed with the Lemken sower, lime when necessary, always spray herbicide, spray solid fertilizer twice, plow when necessary, weed if...

Re: Do not express your opinion on this forum
agent_insidious registered today, March 27, and is probably familiar with how other forums operate without regard for personal feelings hurt or insinuations made. I myself am not a fan of how FS19 separates the different colors of the same breed, because it requires moving to different screens for t...

Gorale? Hip, hip, horray! Loved it in 17. Sandy Bay I never got around to, but I know it's loved by many.iLLBill606 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 2:48 pm Sandy Bays and Gorale are the only other ones confirmed that i did NOT list?

" I appreciate the time, effort and intelligence it takes to make your own map. I also say good job to Jim and thank you for making a map players on both pc and console can have as an option I have to give negative feedback. I do not enjoy this map and actually find it very irritating. It is no...

The Biobeltz log fork is the one I was waiting for. Used it a bunch in 17, glad to hear it’s working in 19.

Re: The Game is ready!? Review!
The most aggravating thing for me in FS19 has been the landscaping feature, the expense involved, the “cannot place here” pronouncements on level ground, the lack of income-producing placeables. I’ve played FS17 the last couple of weeks, and it’s a feeling of relief not to deal with those issues. Th...

Re: DLC question
I’ve probably downloaded 75% of the mods. I like to focus on a particular brand for each map- it’s Fendt on Marwell Manor - and I uncheck all the non-Fendt tractors mods, for example. Another map might have some good existing features, so I’ll uncheck corresponding mod features that I know I won’t u...

Re: Mercury Farms by Alien Jim (Official Topic)
I’m 12 hours into Mercury Farms on pc without any Great Demands or loading problems, but I’ll hold off for now until the loading issue is fixed, don’t want to lose what I have. Having a great time.
