Re: [FS19]John Deere Cotton DLC

Anyways, you're way off point of the main topic! My point has already been made and was very much on topic. As far as contract, etc...that in itself is off topic and you are merely reiterating what I and others have beat around the forum a thousand times. You're beating a dead horse. The topic is t...

Re: [FS19]John Deere Cotton DLC

Trust me, no company the size of Deere would allow its name to be licensed or used any any way, shape or form, without "lawyers" being involved, and lawyers = something definitely on legal paper. The reason why they weren't in FS previously is pointless, no matter how simple it was. I know how corp...

Re: [FS19]John Deere Cotton DLC

You know that fans wanted Deere to be added for a long time, and I suspect the when Giant approached Deere, that they came to some kind of agreement (a contract). As particular as Deere can be, you are over thinking this one just a little bit. I know how Deere came to be in the game and the general...

Re: [FS19]John Deere Cotton DLC

I don't do a lot of cotton myself, I would rather have seen some new JD implements, like the JD 2680H High-Performance Disk in all its widths, or DB90 36Row30 Planter. Yes there's a mod released of the DB60, but it has serious bugs, and no one has fixed it. If I get a DLC from Giant, at least it wi...

Re: Longer development

....I am thinking why players need to wait half year, till Giants get this game fixed? This time it took almost 6 month to get bugs fixed and machinery added as mods what was missing from base game... ...Giants needs to not listen the Focus Home too much and release the game when it is ready,... I ...

Re: Longer development

I agree that longer would be best but I doubt that will happen. I had read somewhere that the only title that Focus invests development costs into is FS. Then, looking at their financial numbers, while not their biggest title, FS general and platinum releases are the biggest earners at the end of ea...

Re: GRIMME DLC, What Happened?

In Norway a 1 row potato harvester is the norm, two row is still long between.. Don't think there are 5 self-propelled.. There are 300.000 tonns grown each year.. That's a hell of a lot turns back and forth😂 No disrespect to Norway but it ranks about 76th in the world in potato production ( 2016 da...

Do you have a source for that?
Yes. It was listed on Focus' most recent financial report.

Re: new dlc

Depends if Seasons is issued as a mod or DLC. I expect that to be before October. Other than that, the Platinum Edition is expected in October. I don't know if Giants has announced it but Focus definitely has.

Re: North modding tracked machine are scaled to small

I get that its (painfully slow) but these aren't really made to span a lot of ground in a hurry. Granted, they move more than the average excavator, but only tree to tree, which isn't very far (usually). Also, given the need to handle steep slopes, the need for torque is at a premium.

Re: "Farming Simulator 19 sold over 2 million copies"

DeereJason, It's understandable that you would not want to violate trust. In that case however why even mention anything then? There's just not much there when you say "I heard something from someone" and don't elaborate at all. It's a matter of context. What I was discussing, was using and validat...

To respond to "belittling opinions "...I'm largely going to leave that alone...keep your lectures to yourself. Sir Kutz Regarding my source...it would very dissrespectful to said individual to violate trust. This source goes beyond Farming Simulator, so I'm not going to jeopardize that. Quite frank...

Re: "Farming Simulator 19 sold over 2 million copies"

Dont misunderstand my position...it would be very naive to think that the sales success of FS19 is solely attributable to the introduction of Deere. There have been so many discussions on this, its difficult to keep track of when I mentioned that. Like many other products, ag equipment sees a lot of...

Re: North modding tracked machine are scaled to small

In comparison to other equipment and all readily known dimensions, I don't see an issue. These harvesters are small by design. Given the massive demand for mods, especially console mods...add in the eagerness for Deere mods, it's best just to be content with what's there. Modders are hounded constan...

Re: New Crop Type in the Platinum dlc?

I've been thinking that another crop could be on the way as well. However, it would probably be something more seamless and easily integrated into the current game. Given that Claas is (very likely) on the way, I would have to think it would be more forage or grain related. It would probably be some...
