Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
There's no censorship going on at all. Giants doesn't own any of the mods people upload to the Modhub or where ever. Which means it's not their job to police the mod sites. The modders are the ones that need to contact the sites and get their mods removed. Therefore, the topic gets locked since it ...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
I want to point out that I've just locked a topic about SiiDs statement to prevent another wave of drama on this forum. I sincerely hope people won't move it here :) God forbid someone actually call Giants out for benefiting off modders and failing to do the fair thing. Just censorship You can’t be...

Converting files to AutoCAD format
Disregarding what modding software is best or what programs are necessary for creating mods...is anyone familiar with exporting various 3D images (.id3 ?) From a Giants format to a 3d format friendly to AutoCAD... DXF or dwg? What programs or conversion services are available? Currently play on cons...

Re: How does Giants model so much equipment?
I wasn't trying to cause a huge debate or anything.. My only point is that we should always give credit where its due.. Idk if they contract people out for making models.. I don't see y they would but whateves.. I don't presume to be in the know on those things.. But assuming they don't do a ton of...

Re: John Deere Forage harvester
I mean i would like to believe you, but where's your proof of actually having a contact? Also imo there is 0% chance that we would see the new Deere series(7R-8R-8RX) in FS19, they most likely will be in FS21. And even if we did see them in 19, they would not be free. The believing part is entirely...

Re: John Deere Forage harvester
They are doing more fsl at the weekend though and if there was something coming we should know this week. You have a personal source but only told u November? JD did a hint something but it was for the forage harvester Earlier I was told 4-5 items in November Recently (about a week ago), I was told...

Re: John Deere Forage harvester
Maybe giants is backed up, so originally it was supposed to be November and now maybe after the 1st of the year. I hope you are right. I got faith. Recently I was told late November...and we're still in November. Since Agritechnica just finished and its expected that those code items will be made a...

Re: John Deere Forage harvester
More Deere stuff? Where did you get that info? A VERY reliable personal source. First shared it as far back as 8 months ago. Was told November. That was recently confirmed to be later this month. I'd like to question your source, you said 8 months ago and that was Cotton harvester that came out and...

Re: New JD X9
Would be interesting to see some specs of the JD X9. But more important would be to see how it performs in the field. At Agritechnica they announced a combine challenge for it similar to the one for the T-Series combines. You can win 25000Euros if you show less losses while harvesting with same spe...

Re: New JD X9
It's already in the game, just needs a reskin  https://image.giants-software.com/1/NbUoxssp.jpg Yeah...just like the Quadtrac....because the sales are exactly the same, lol The old "copy" mantra is jealousy at its finest. So stupid. Guys cry foul, yet it's not as their "so-calle...

Re: John Deere Forage harvester
The JD 9000 is part of the code giveaway with Kemper. Chris confirmed it yesterday and has changed the descriptions to clarify that. While the 9000 is part of the giveaway, it still will be one of the handful of Deere items coming in the wake of Agritechnica. Not certain if the remainder will be re...

Re: John Deere DLC
I just want to make a simple point here. John Deere is indeed a massive equipment manafacture who have just entered the game officially. They have 15 pieces of equipment in the game, and for a single brand that’s mood too bad as a first step. But then look at Massey Ferguson for another example. 7 ...
