Download, extract and place prefab folder somewhere in your map folder, then drag and drop i3d file in editor.

No. You have to have them in your mod map folder so you can customize them.
You should start with some tutorials first.

You can add the placeable in editor and then use coordinates from xml to see them. Fences you will have to delete from xml then place in game, save and then paste from save to maps placeables.xml or use this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHhBf2nf5sQ&t=1507s

Buildings are loaded from placeables.xml and check farmland.xml for <farmlands densityMapFilename="data/infoLayer_farmland.grle"
Many things are referenced to their default basegame locations/file paths in modDesc.xml and map.xml.

How exactly does this work? Because i got 57 out of 64 fruit types, so there's space for 7 more, and i dont see any new ones added.

For filling water from the fake water you can add a fill trigger that would stretch across the map. The same way its done in american map.

4 by 4 Km map would be the limit for modhub as file size cant be more than 32 Mb.
