Re: [FS19][PC] Looking around with mouse: Annoying!
I currently have my mouse setup quite responsive, just the way I like. I did the following steps. * First I upped the mouse sensitivity to 200% in the main menu settings, then exited the game. * I then exited the game and opened inputBinding.xml in my Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2019 folder. ...

Re: Grass not showing up ingame
I am familiar with that mod. And I do use it while testing. I also like to add the player speed mod though, as it is a bit easier to change the player speed on-the-fly than the Creator Tools setting.

Re: Grass not showing up ingame
I'm starting to grasp that, yes. I'll just stick with a new game from this point on instead of saving at all. Small steps, but it's a learning experience.

Re: Grass not showing up ingame
Yup, starting a new save game did indeed do the trick. Thank you so much!

Grass not showing up ingame
Hi,I've run into a small snag in my map-making learning adventure. I've added some grass foliage to my map (grass, channels 1+6). It shows up just as I would expect within the editor. When I go ingame however, none of the grass shows up. I've tried using both the grass texture layer and no texture l...

Re: Trying to create a smooth(ish) canal at an angle. Terrain grid problems arise.
Appreciate the reply and the pointer to the relevant video. Did give it a quick try, but I'll probably have to play around with it some more tomorrow. Not entirely convinced yet on it being the silver bullet. The angle still seems to work against me.
Thanks again though!
Thanks again though!

Trying to create a smooth(ish) canal at an angle. Terrain grid problems arise.
Hi all, I'm very, very new to creating a map and I am at least able to import stuff and do some basic terrain sculpting. However, I ran into a bit of an issue and I wanted to check whether it is fixable or if I'm out of luck here. The issue is as follows (reference image here: https://imgur.com/a/lR...

Re: So im a noob
Not all crops are harvested the same way. Some crops (like wheat, barley, canola) can be harvested using a regular harvester. The crops are seeded, fertilized and once they have grown you can harvest them. The actual product is seperated from the non-usuable stuff by the harvester. Other crops requi...

Re: Graphics setting: Low
Yes, I do understand what you're saying, thanks very much for the explanation. So to bypass the update problem I should have deleted the .ini files that the mod created and then run it, would this have stopped the issue or am I way off the mark? Cheers :hi: I'm not completely sure what you could ha...

Re: Draw Distance Updater - v1.1.0.0
Hi Doug, First of all, awesome job on the utility. Have been using it for a while now and wouldn't want to go back to the original settings. That said, I did try to revert to the original settings yesterday to take a few screenshots for someone. It killed the game with a CRC error message, forcing m...

Re: Graphics setting: Low
What (almost certainly) happened is the following. You used it prior to the 1.2 patch. When you ran the mod, it made a backup of the file with the original CRC values of the files the mod replaces. Next Giants updated the game, in the process also creating different CRC values for some files as they...

Re: Graphics setting: Low
I've created two mini albums for you. One on low settings, one on medium. Fresh installation and in both Multisample Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering are turned off. Note that by far the biggest impact between the two is the lack of shadows on the low quality setting. I can't really judge perf...

Re: Great Demand question
I'm fairly sure that that is the time remaining for the great demand (while it is in progress), although I'm not 100% sure. I seem to recall that the number of hours decreases at time progresses.

Re: How do I install mods on steam?
Quick quote of myself: The Steam version is definitely moddable. I don't know about Mac/Linux versions, but for the Windows version the mod folder is: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\my games\FarmingSimulator2015\mods . This can be reached using Windows Explorer by accessing: This PC , then Documents ...

Re: Translator needed for the Forum Rules
Although I get the gist of the rules, they are EXTREMELY difficult to understand and it was a case of TL;DR after the fourth paragraph, hence someone (other than Google) is required to translate the forum rules so that they are EASILY understood and CAN NOT be misinterpreted/misunderstood. Yeah, th...
