Re: American maps for console

I'd stay on Elmcreek indefinitely if there was more land to work instead of cosmetic filler.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Yeah, I rarely spring to their defense, but with so many mods and the patch to test, they're doing a pretty good job. Considering some rejected mods are resubmitted multiple times that invariably adds to the workload. There are only so many hours in a day. And yes "hire more people" would ...

Re: 170 Hours and It's Over

I have been on many different game forums over the years and seen my fair share of fanboys but you lot take the cake. I've genuinely never seen criticism met with such hostility, even mild criticism. A few in particular remind me of those old guys that shout get off my lawn (get off my forum) at ki...

Re: 170 Hours and It's Over

There's nothing wrong with having your own engine - and clearly it has massive advantages as you are not tied down to any licensing nor third party tools and can do whatever you want with it. If it doesn't affect their bottom line - and clearly it has not thus far - they don't have much of an incent...

Re: 170 Hours and It's Over

[Well maybe one day it will happen as tech progresses. It is what it is and im glad we get to play it. As what tech progresses? Tech has already progressed far and beyond what their junk engine can take advantage of. They still haven't figured out how to use more than two threads. It certainly is w...

Re: 170 Hours and It's Over

Couldn’t agree more with OP, but it is what it is and it’s not going to get better. Take it or leave it mate. I wish complaining made a difference, but only money does, and they just made more than ever with this one. So yeah, don’t expect improvements, embrace the mediocrity or move on.

Re: Gaming pc

Buying a proper gaming PC is impossible in that budget. A decent GPU alone will cost more than that. Come back in two years, maybe crypto will no longer be profitable for small time miners by then and prices will have come down to something at least resembling sanity.

Re: When a 3m Cultivator is just too big :)

I hope so, fingers crossed. I wish Giant's would hurry up and re-release some of their bigger seeders, the ones with the separate seed tender and the seeder/cultivator. They don't even have to be from the Bourgualt pack, I'd be happy with the Hatzenbichler Terminator and it's seed tender. I was gen...

Re: When a 3m Cultivator is just too big :)

I know there are quite a few large implements stuck in the queue somewhere. They haven't made it into testing yet by the looks of things, so it's unlikely we're going to see them any time soon. Maybe at the end of next week, at the earliest.

Re: Many non-working mods from modhub

I've noticed an unusually high number of mods getting through testing with warnings. Not outright "red" errors, but "yellow" warnings. It seems that their testing policy allows some of these through. Unfortunately, I've also observed bugs with some mods, including GIANTS own mode...

Re: Hard economy cost/income evaluation of fieldwork.

People always complained hard was too easy, so with FS17 they started to make changes. I think the game is now balanced around "easy" economy, and the other two settings are there depending on how much you want to grind. Interesting write-up nevertheless, thanks!

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Considering they're releasing their own models with bugs (the Bednar 18000 occasionally gets stuck and won't lower itself), I'd question if there is a QA team there at all.
