Re: [FS19]Alpine Farming Expansion offers new map and over 30 machines!

I am really looking forward to this DLC. I personally think the map looks superb. Its clear lots of effort has gone into it and I am really looking forward to driving around. I think the machinery looks good as well, and I think using it on the map will add a nice local dimension to the map. I am ha...

Re: Seriously product placement in the Alpine Farming Expansion map

I dont have an issue with it. Its just advertising. All you have to do these days is drive anywhere irl and its big billboards. Local to me used to be a nice field, now its full of oil offices a drive through macdonalds and a starbucks, all with competing billboards and none of them look nice. They ...

Re: Is there a secret set of equipment for small fields?

I mainly use field 4 for growing crops. I would suspect that in real life, it would be borderline too steep to work in places. I tend to work it sideways, so for ploughing, cultivating etc I start at the top corner next to field 2 and the road and work along to the other farm road. then work back th...

Re: fs17 revisited

Fs19 is lacking in all the major areas. A hybrid Fs17/19 is what I would like to see. Something that takes the environment, sound and feel of 17, but adds in the mechanics of 19. If they want to push the placeable system, then it needs to actually be fit for purpose, not just stick a random cow shed...

Re: fs17 revisited

I am still torn between 17 and 19. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Im on PC and have been playing since FS11. I would say I like to play realistically and I have never really played the game solely to make money on a map. Its all about the experience and I like to start small and grow the fa...

Re: Which DLC-s you have? Which one do you like most?

Ive got all the DLC except the Bourgault DLC. I bought the JD DLC as it was cheap enough, but I personally do not like large scale farming, I have never actually used any of the original big cultivators, so I did not see the point in buying more big cultivators to not use. I have played this game si...

Small bale issues

Hi all, Just wondering, Does anyone else have issues with small HD bales and securing straps? I have tried all the modhub small balers and not one of the makes a bale that can be strapped down, apart from the small MF Hesston baler. When I try to strap down a small bale, I get the message about No C...

Re: Is there a secret set of equipment for small fields?

I've got over 100 hours on this map, its a great little map. I use Deutz tractors on it. I run the 4.71 with 90 odd HP, Ive got the 6.38 with front loader on, the 6.61 and I have just recently bought the new 6.81 with 190hp. The combine is the NH TX. I use a fliegl twin axle trailer, similar to the ...

FS19 Shovel area pickup

I am not sure if this is a bug or as intended. When using a loading shovel to scoop fruits from the ground, the shovel seems to pick up from a very large area, you do not even have to be at ground level for the shovel to collect the material. In FS17, the shovels would only pickup material directly ...

Re: [WON'T FIX] [FS19] BETA 1.2 Grass Destruction

The grass was only knocked back a stage or two, so it was still mowable. Having cut many grass fields in my life, it is a fact that when using a side cut mower, the first trip round the field will always result in the grass being trampled. Generally, once you have done a couple of trips round the fi...

Re: [WON'T FIX] [FS19] BETA 1.2 Grass Destruction

I am sorry, but Really?? You introduced an excellent feature, then "decide" just not to bother with it? I honestly cannot understand why you would remove this feature. It is one of my favourite things is seeing the tracks left in a field after you have driven over it. For me personally, it adds imme...

Re: [FS19] Patch 1.2.0 Beta Branch For Windows

I have been playing with the patch for a couple of days and its been good so far, but I have noticed that now grass destruction is off. Does anyone else have this? I thought it was maybe because I used the patch on an existing save game. So I emptied the mods folder (there was only mods from the mod...

Re: [FS19] Patch 1.2.0 Beta Branch For Windows

Well Done Giants! This patch is outstanding. From what I have tried so far, it works very, very well. I have only played around with it for 30 mins so far, but the terrain modification and painting works a treat. What I have found so far. I loaded up my main save on fennsbrun, that worked fine, with...
