FS19 Shovel area pickup

I am not sure if this is a bug or as intended. When using a loading shovel to scoop fruits from the ground, the shovel seems to pick up from a very large area, you do not even have to be at ground level for the shovel to collect the material. In FS17, the shovels would only pickup material directly ...

Re: [WON'T FIX] [FS19] BETA 1.2 Grass Destruction

The grass was only knocked back a stage or two, so it was still mowable. Having cut many grass fields in my life, it is a fact that when using a side cut mower, the first trip round the field will always result in the grass being trampled. Generally, once you have done a couple of trips round the fi...

Re: [WON'T FIX] [FS19] BETA 1.2 Grass Destruction

I am sorry, but Really?? You introduced an excellent feature, then "decide" just not to bother with it? I honestly cannot understand why you would remove this feature. It is one of my favourite things is seeing the tracks left in a field after you have driven over it. For me personally, it adds imme...

Re: [FS19] Patch 1.2.0 Beta Branch For Windows

I have been playing with the patch for a couple of days and its been good so far, but I have noticed that now grass destruction is off. Does anyone else have this? I thought it was maybe because I used the patch on an existing save game. So I emptied the mods folder (there was only mods from the mod...

Re: [FS19] Patch 1.2.0 Beta Branch For Windows

Well Done Giants! This patch is outstanding. From what I have tried so far, it works very, very well. I have only played around with it for 30 mins so far, but the terrain modification and painting works a treat. What I have found so far. I loaded up my main save on fennsbrun, that worked fine, with...

Re: [SOLVED] hydraulic hoses bug

Aye, "older" models from FS17 do not feature any hoses in the game as they have been implemented for the newer equipment. This is by design, I'm afraid. I could almost forgive that, if it was true. However, Hoses have not been implemented in half of the new equipment either. The new MAN semi has ho...

Re: [Dev-Blog] Improved Farm Creation

I think the new system will help create better maps, and will certainly be a huge benefit to players. As has been said already, mappers can and will still be able to create exact farm replicas, the only difference will be that the buildings will hopefully all be placables, so it will give the player...

Re: Grass glitch gone! Thank you Giants

Have to agree. I'm very happy with the new patch. For me, personally it fixes far more than it breaks. I much prefer that the ground response seems to have been tweaked as well, as my machinery no longer wobbles all over the place. The hired worker issue is a pain, but if you don't do any headlands ...

Re: Buying a laptop for fs17

I run the game on my laptop with no real issues.
My laptop is a i7 (4th gen)
12gb ram, and a Nvidia GTX 765m.
I run the game in high settings with no issues. I also have lots of mods. running maps like Lawfolds, or Coldbourgh is no problem.

Re: Patch 1.4 well done Giants!!!!

I've knocked out a good few hours with this patch and I think i must be in the minority, as for me it has fixed lots of issues.
The flickering is gone, my hired workers actually work better than they used to and my frame rates are better.
I have not had the seeding issues others seem to have.
