I look for a tractor that has a yellow hydraulics line connector in front (same as the ones in back of the tractor). If it is a small tractor, I attach a counter weight in back.

They're actually inside the game's shop/Morgan's Massive Motors on Goldcrest Valley map (press the touch screen). You have purchase them with in game currency to use them on your farm. You'll also start seeing them while playing the missions on fields that you don't own.

Disconnect from the internet, delete the game from the XMB menu, start the game (if you're using a game disc). Don't connect to the internet to prevent the game from updating.

I actually got the game to crash without any visible irregular blank trails while sowing, so this time I deleted and re-installed the game and opted to play the game disconnected from the internet and found only one instance where the game slows down drastically at the very end of a sowing mission, ...

Are you getting the CE-34878-0 error message whenever it crashes? I've found that the only way to avoid this is to pay close attention to the sowing mission, if your sower starts leaving short or long blank trails (which can't be corrected), drive the tractor over to the side of the field and fail t...

Once you've reached 100% with a farmer, you'll get a 20% discount when buying the field. But you can continue working missions/jobs past the 100% reputation.
