Re: FS21 Seasons

Seems like a lot of the above have forgot that fs19 lets you build your own farm, even though it was poorly implemented from the start. If seasons are implemented it should be possible to toggle on/off and it should maybe only contain the different parts of the year. So could modders add the rest. ...

Terraforming Help

Hey all. I'm looking for a master landscaper here. I started playing Lone Oak Farm. I decided I'm going to start out with a small pig farm, my only problem being that that part of the farm doesn't have a silo. I had to place one in. This is no issue, except now everything is raised. I was able to ma...

Re: FS21 Seasons

Yes, it would be good to know, but its only for PC users atm. Console users dont have Seasons , but most of them are waiting for it to be released. Also, how good is FS19 tells that one of the best map makers BulletBill abandonded modding for FS19 because he is very dissapointed with the game. If t...

Re: FS21 Seasons

I dread to hear about Seasons being taken over by the developers. The RM team does such a great job at making the mod what it is, and they do it for free. It seems like anytime a developer gets their hands on something like that, it goes to hell. I've always been faithful to GIANTS, but they'd bette...

Re: A “typical” American farm

I'm curious why west of the Mississippi in the OP. I would think that would skew the results to larger operations myself. There are plenty of farms east of the great river. Where I grew up and live currently it is not uncommon in the country so be able to stand and see up to a half dozen individual...

Re: What is your play style?

All these folks talk about shifters and all that. I spend enough time grabbing gears at my job, I have no desire to do that stuff at home haha. It does fascinate me that people are that passionate about an ultra-realistic experience with this game though. As for play style, I still have yet to truly...

Re: does the latest versions consist of previous versions?

Each version of the game improves upon the last. If you so choose to purchase all of them, go from oldest to newest when playing. Otherwise, you'll only be disappointed. Each version tends to greatly improve upon the last. FS19 did not add quite as many gameplay improvements as FS17 did in my opinio...

Re: John Deere small tractors?

Yes, this. Farmers don't buy top of the line tractors for these chores. I would love a poppin' Johnny for some light work. Really? Since when? I promise you that Deere sells A LOT more 4R's and 5R's than they do 7R's and 8R's Um, okay. Not sure why you are try to correct me but sure. While I don't ...

Why isn't this included in the season pass?
It was a pre-order bonus I believe. That was the only way to get it.

Spraying, raking, tedding, cleaning up animals, water run, feeding animals, or run an older style farm. Yes, this. Farmers don't buy top of the line tractors for these chores. I would love a poppin' Johnny for some light work. Most of the "chore" tractors I see are around 75-125 horse or so. That s...

Re: How Much Tractor Do I need/want? (40 Acres)

Probably better off asking this on a forum thats not based on a video game, just sayin Possibly true. A lot of us here are farmers and/or tractor and equipment enthusiasts though, so this definitely isn't the worst place to hunt for an answer. Hands down I'd recommend a Deere or Kubota, or maybe a ...

Re: Any map recommendations please!

I am currently playing the Great Smoky Mountains with seasons. Mostly odd-shaped fields, but hired workers don't typically have issues with the fields. Not a ton of sell points though. Also, if you want lots of space to build your own farm, there are several empty lots. As well, a lot of the ground ...

Re: Platinum expansion

PC players paid the exact same price for the season pass as you did. Interesting too, that they even got the same features. I only say they because I didn't buy the season pass. I usually take a pass on one of the DLC's with each version, so I can pick and choose the other ones I want, and I usuall...
