Re: Construction Simulators

Great games, but need to be improved upon. I found the UI and controls to be super awkward and clunky to use. A game simulating working in the earth and moving dirt also needs to have realistic dirt mechanics. It shouldn't just magically disappear when the task is over. That is another issue I had. ...

Re: Buying or leasing? I just can't figure it out yet!

There's no real secret. It's a case of using leasing when it makes most sense, eg when you're in a hurry. Repairing is fairly cheap in the long run, and much less than leasing fees over a prolonged period. The key factor is how much you'll use something. If you use something for a period of time, t...

Re: Unloading mini bales from Old Krone Tipper

I know on PC there is a conveyor you can use to semi-automate the process. You can throw some off, they'll run up the conveyor, and drop off at the other end. It's how it's often done on small farms in real life. I'm not sure, but you could probably us it with two people in multiplayer as is usually...

Re: Most satisfying parts of Farming Simulator

Absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt making hay and feeding cattle. Close second is combining grain and baling the straw. I'm typically not a huge fan of field work, but I will do it on my own a lot of the times.

Re: How do you store your bales?

There is a small family tree service I had do some work for me and they used a machine that looks like the hay buster to fill bags of wood chips or mulch. Somewhat along those lines, I for one would love to see the forestry aspect of the game expanded upon with different species of tree that are ac...

Re: How do you store your bales?

Interesting how everybody does it differently. I used to store a little bit of loose material on FS17 on my one map. I'd use it as "filler" for TMR. A haybuster is in the works on my current game, but right now I've got to get a little more crop ground.

Re: I sure hope the next farming simulator game isn't on epic!

I'm curious as to what you're getting at here? Are you saying that you hope that the next FS title flops horribly? Or are you insinuating that you wish you had had more access to reviews before buying FS19? Or maybe what you're saying doesn't have anything to do with Farming Simulator at all, since ...

How do you store your bales?

*gasps* I've done it!.....Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the humble Farming Simulator bale stack. It has been an extremely emotional journey, but I have done it. Or rather, I suppose I have STARTED it. While I haven't counted the bales, my rough guess is that there are 60+ small square bales...

Re: TVTOF

I hope it passes soon for others. I played the map heavily on FS17 so I'll probably sit this one out. Great mod though, and I recommend everyone who likes European Maps with smaller fields to try it.

Re: John Deere Tractor under 120 hp

Yes either that or I change it on day one of spring with nothing planted. Please note if you do use my geo the grass will be set at growth stage one. I sent that one in to testing and then sent an update to have it at stage two but GIANTS three times said they updated it but didn't. Besides that hi...

Re: Small Square Bales

Ok. Well at least they are useable. I tried placing directly in feed troughs, that did not seem to do anything. Just wish I could not have them disappear Agreed. Like I said, there's a fix that can be made on the PC. Unfortunately, you're going to have to hope and wait for the mod author to fix the...

Re: John Deere Tractor under 120 hp

Thanks for the info pict. Farmcat, I live in Pennsylvania and Lancaster is only a couple hours away. I saw your geo at one time(I may have even downloaded it) I'll have to use it. Winter is the best time to switch geos right? As long as I don't get rain every day, I'll be happy. Yes either that or ...

Re: Small Square Bales

So I finally got to use a mixer wagon with the small bales and a straw blower as well. At least with the vanilla mixer and blower I used, the small squares were compatible with them. Not sure if that will help you or not.
