Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

I know on Steam (which is obviously only PC players) Fs19 started off poorly with it's ratings, but as time has gone on it has steadily improved. However it still falls some way behind the ratings of Fs17, and Fs15. It's a pity there is no way to get a more complete picture of how players feel abou...

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

For me the biggest problem with FS19 are the broken sounds, it's taking away enjoyment and because of it most tractors are not usable for me. Most of time I'm using the NH T6, Case 7200 series, Fiat 1300DT or JCB Fasttrac 4220. Those tractors do not so annoy me as the rest does. JD's are sounding t...

Drilling winter barley, leaving endriggs to the end. https://image.giants-software.com/1/MNxeCkYd.jpg Note the furrow press. If conditions are right it makes a really tidy job, and you don't need to waste the diesel and a tractor rolling it flat, also means the seed drill gets an easier job and can ...

Fyi, you couldn't bore me with farming pictures. I love looking at them.
Lol.

Ploughing barley in with a T7 and Kuhn 5 furrow, you'll maybe make out the headlands I've left till last!

Exactly now what you are saying makes sense. You don't want to drive over potatoes because you would ruin the mound. Sorry, but your common sense comment irked me because it isn't common sense. Practices are different everywhere.
They are indeed.

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

They work perfectly fine with headlines. Planting were so headlines first. Cultivation, discing were so headlines first. Maybe not so obvious. How many yards of farming have you done? Don't turn so sharp and if you have the correct planting depth it didn't even affect the seed. I'm not interested i...

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

How do you figure that's unrealistic? The only times I do headlines last is chiseling and hauling manure and that's because I don't want to drive on the soil, but even then I go around the waterways first. Discing, planting, spraying, mowing, raking, tedderring, and harvesting is all done first wit...

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

Interesting to read everyone's thoughts. I didn't mean to sound so negative but I really did feel disappointed. I think bullet bill made a good point about depending on how you play the game you'll see things differently. I like uk maps, not horrid square fields. I'm not interested in cotton and stu...

I never said chainsaw controls are different from 17, I’m well aware they are the same.

I said why don’t we use the trigger for the throttle, like the vehicles.

Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

Hello all jolly virtual farmers. So I've been playing fs games for ages, have played hours and hours of 17 and didn't see much point in getting 19 when it came out as they are normally riddled with issues and for the money I didn't think it offered much more than 17. Well, my wife bought me 19 for x...

Not the JD but the potato stuff
I'm shocked how bad the yield is in that video. 6 rows of potatos and probably 1/2 if not a third of the yield I'd expect to see, we would get that same yield from just two rows where we grow them in Scotland.

Awesome equipment all the same.

Re: [FS19] - Time to really step it up, Giants!

The gaps come from the fact that consoles are built for budget gaming, so they're not as powerful, compared to a PC that's worth $800-$900 I think budget is the wrong word Mr Smith. "Easy access" or "hassle free" is much more appropriate. From my perspective the cost of the platform is irrelevant, ...

Re: Game stutter on XB1/PS4.

That’s fine. I am stating what my experience is with the Xbox one x that I am literally using right now. Whether you think it is true or not only really matters to you. I’m sure pretty much everyone here knows I have no agenda trying to push consoles and how good they are. I have no reason to say t...

Re: Game stutter on XB1/PS4.

I think the update for X1X was included in the last patch. As he received the console only yesterday it would be a fresh installation of the game so it would update to the latest patch. He says it looks miles better so that indicates that as it supports 4K he must be on the latest update. It would b...
