Re: [Video] Rennebu map WIP presentation
Will the land next to the river be very expensive and give you additional income during summer?

Re: [Video] Rennebu map WIP presentation
Looks great olahaldor.
Good that you making new aspects. It is what will bring a real Norwegian character to the map I think. In addition to the terrain naturally.
I've driven through this beautiful valley many times and look forward to seeing more of your progress. Keep up the good work.

Re: Silage not fermenting
In your savegame folder there is a file called items.xml. Within that file you can find the silage pit (search for "silo"). Then you will see a variable called fermentingTime. Just increase that value, reload the game and the silage is ready to be used.

Re: Seasons difficulty
The problem with 3 day seasons is not ground temperatures as far as I've heard, but more with regards to not being able to harvest in autumn or when making hay since you can several days with rain in a row. I've made is such that crops dry faster on 3 day seasons than on longer seasons, but that has...

Re: Seasons Question
Correct. The seasonal textures are determined from: 1) the latitude given in the environment.xml and 2) the information in the latitudeSeason.xml One or both (or none for that matter) of the files above can be supplied in a GEO. If you want to have complete control of the textures edit latitudeSeaso...

Re: Seasons Question
Remember also there is no link between the weather and the textures. Example: if someone makes a southern GEO with arctic weather it will show summer textures and snow at the same time. Even with properly made GEOs you will get such situations, especially in spring.

Re: A question for those of you who are farmers or grew up on a farm
Have the same experience as some of the others here. Distance to dealer, access to parts and service personell plays a huge role. Not to mention personal relationships. One salesman here shifted from a dealer selling NH/Case to another dealer selling JD. So now everyone buys JD cause everyone knows ...

Re: Seasons Question
This is a good question. Does not seem like we have covered it in the manual. The visual tree textures are controlled by the latitude given by either default Seasons or the GEO and the time of year. The further north you go the longer winter (weather and textures) and shorter summer you will have. S...

Re: Lone Oak 19 with seasons issue
The reason for this is intended and due to that GEO's can set the latitude of the location they are based upon. Default Seasons is 51.9 deg N. Midwest GEO is 40.4 deg N. The further north, the longer winter, earlier autumn, later spring etc. Not sure if the Lone Oak map has an embedded GEO, but in c...

Re: Seasons mod (op updated re: bug reports)
I've been having some interesting developments in my recent game. Hopefully someone will be able to point me to the right direction in fixing the issue. I don't know if this should be a bug report or if the issue is something else entirely. So, I've been playing on Kvisslingby 1.1.5.5 map. Check Ye...

Re: Seasons mod (op updated re: bug reports)
Community should read the manual.
^^ Identical in the 17 and 19 manual..Vanilla growth is completely disabled. The mod controls all growth of fruits, including pine trees, which take 5 years to become fully grown and harvestable after 2 years since you planted them.
