Re: Noobie question about using Silos (FS19/PS4)
No need to feel embarrassed. I've played this game for years and learn something new quite often. You can have as many silos on a map as you wish. The total storage in the crop prices screen should reflect the total capacity of your owned silos. As far as I know, any silo extension works with any si...

Re: pull type forage harvester with high-dump wagon
Thanks, but I'm a console peasant.
I'm glad you got something that sort-of works though. If I ever need to do silage again, I'll just lease a self-propelled chopper.

Re: Suggested map for someone new to seasons
I have tried everything from 3 to 9 day seasons and it all depends on your playstyle and what you're actually farming. For myself, I always play on 5x speed. Unless I absolutely cannot get something done it time, then I'll bump it to 1x. But that's extremely rare. I find 6 days is the sweet spot mos...

Re: pull type forage harvester with high-dump wagon
I tried and tried and finally gave up and used an end-dump. Very overlooked mod opportunity, in my opinion.

Re: Best Crop Rotation
I a general rule, you don't want to have two crops back to back.
And (I'm assuming Seasons, don't know anything about Precision Farming) wheat & barley are the same crop type (cereal).
Play with the rotation planner and see which plan gets you the biggest yield bump.

Re: So i have to leave a vehicle at the store all the time??
I always buy a Telehandler to load stuff at the store then sell it back for the purchase price (with seasons, obviously)
As far as having to drive or walk to the store, c'mon... tab to or visit in the map.

Re: What to do in Winter
I'm just gonna say the Illinois geo (for Stone Valley) is one of the best for winter activities. The crop prices usually peak around winter for me. It snows a ton every day. So it usually takes half a day (on 5x) to clear the yard to get the trucks filled. On top of all that, the ground hardly ever...

Re: A respectful while pointed message to Giants software and FS community.
I'd just like to chime in and say that I won't purchase the next game because of the dumpster fire that FS19 was at launch (and still is, in some ways). Nothing to do with overly-sensitive modders and Giant's handling of them. Obviously we only have one side of the story and there's always more to i...

That's a tough one. When did Seasons come out for consoles?

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
On a positive note, Custom Modding posted that the JD air drill has finished testing with Giants. Whether or not that means it'll be out this week or not, who knows.

It must've been a mod. I don't remember that ever being in the base game.

Re: Precision Farming time consuming
If you're only concerned with making the most money with the least investment, plant soybeans with a direct drill and harvest over and over again.
