Re: Tatra Phoenix Argo Pack

I am very happy as a console player, to have the mods they have made available. Sure there are lots of other things available for PC's, that arent on consoles, but if I want all those things I would play the PC version. As a console player, I am happy to have some additional equipment, more maps, et...

Re: 1.4 patch and dlc

Given the number of issues people were experiencing I was nervous about the update. I went ahead and gave it a go and am happy to report all is working as it should. Tested the Pronto 9DC's and the all cultivate and sow with no issues. Hired AI to due a number of things; fertilize, sow, cultivate se...

Re: 2 crops on one field split

Great idea. For now I guess I will just stop him manually when he gets to the boundary as I don't want to leave a long swath of unusable field. My plow is 6m and cultivator is 14m. That would be a lot of useless field.

Re: 2 crops on one field split

yes, no problem. Be careful if you hire a worker to cultivate or plow though. I plowed a border between the two sections (grass one half, harvested soybeans on other half) thinking this would prevent him from crossing this border, then hired them to plow the harvested soybeans. Whoops, dummy plowed ...

Re: Making corn chaff on single player?!?

For me they are. I know everyone plays differently, for me they really allow us to farm bigger. I don't adjust the time, so having help to keep up is really useful.

Re: Making corn chaff on single player?!?

Thats a drag. Haven't played that one yet, knowing that AI is a no-go will probably keep me away from that map. They are such an important part of the game. Sorry about my useless advise!

Re: Sileage

I have found the best way to sell silage is with the conveyors. They take a bit of getting used to, but once I figured it out it is so efficient. I have the Quantum elevator to dump into the sell point. I own multiple (i think 5 or 6) of the transport belts, and then the pickup belt. I just add addi...

Re: Making corn chaff on single player?!?

I have two tippers, 45,000 and 47,000l capacity. I hook one to the forage harvestor (Krone BigX) and hire a worker. I then wait until he is full dismiss that worker. Then pull up behind him in Fendt 927, swap tippers, get him lined up and rehire worker. Then proceed to bunker silo, or wherever you w...

Re: Stumped

I have had a number of times when the actual grinding occurred and it wasn't even touching the stump. If it doesn't grind, as others said, move it around a bit even if it is not on the stump and that will get it grinding. The logging in this game is very finicky, be patient and you will get it to wo...

Re: Starting a new farm....

I just started farming with what I had, and did missions. Slowly built up some money and bought a round baler and bale wrapper, started to sell silage in addition to storing the crops from the first couple fields. I like the slow grind process, makes me feel like I earned it more I guess. I havent p...

Re: Seed/Fert cost ‐ Pallet vs Refill Tank ‐ Results

I hear you on the pallet loading, what a huge time sink. I am now using the PP20 Auger Wagons, have 1 for seed, and 1 for fert. I tow them over to the shop with my MF7700 with loader and pallet fork, and buy enough pallets to fill it up. Then drive back and park in the courtyard on the farm (GCV). T...

Re: Best Tractors

I am currently running a MF8700, Fendt 900, Valtra N and MF7700, all with upgraded engines; and love all three. With the Fendt and MF8700 I can plow/cultivate with my largest implements and the Fendt has reverse drive so it works like a champ for doing hay also. The MF7700 has the loader on it so it...

Re: Drifting / Sliding tractor with front loader

I leased the equipment for the day, so I think my total expenses were about 120,000, which left me with about 150,000 or so profit. Which is great for about a day of work and some resulted cleared spaces to farm now. But the frustration was just so much that I wont do it again.

Re: Drifting / Sliding tractor with front loader

I have had many similar issues like this with logs. Logs sliding out the back of the timber runner, and if you use tension belts with irregular sized logs, well it gets really weird then. I had my whole semi and trailer bouncing all over the place because of the logs settling and tension belts fight...
