Re: Help using multiple harvestors

Thanks Noraf for your the CP info. I messed around with it this morning and got my two combines to play together on my field. Somehow though on the second field they played chicken and had a head on collision. :confusednew: Here is a screen shot of my first successful run. Had some strange looking c...

well, if you're using cp, just set it up fpr multi-tool use, and convoy. Have had 3 run just fine that way
Thanks for the tip! I wondered what the multi-tool feature was about. I will give that a try.

Re: Help using multiple harvestors

I use follow me and it works fine. Just set the correct offset. I have not done anything more than transporting two or three vehicles etc with Follow Me but I did try to set-up the second combine to follow and it did - on the wrong side. So I was not sure exactly what happened there. I could not se...

Help using multiple harvestors

I am now working on Nebraska Land USA that has a lot of big fields and is a good place to harvest with multiple harvesters. I have pretty much always used the AI Vehicle Extention mod and it was easy to get 2 harvesters convoying. But lately the spots of withered crops in the field really mess up th...

Re: realistic money$$$$$$$$$$

My go to crops are soybeans, corn and oats. Seem to be able to build up a good virtual farm with those crops. Not sure it works for R/L farmers. I like to deal with maps of small to medium fields that are irregular in shape as that is what most of the farms in our area is like.

Re: Oilseed Radish Question

I just cultivated a field of OSR on a FS19 map that was at level 2 fertilization and turning down the OSR bumped it to level 3. It works on both FS17 and FS19. I try to cover all my unseeded fields with OSR before the seasons winter period. It seems as though my harvest yield is better but I have ne...

Re: YES Mods says goodbye (for now)

This has been the first site I went to for mods beyond Giants modhub. I found it frustrating dealing with mods that almost worked from other sites, so it was nice having a site like Yesmods that had tested or used whatever they posted. It was also refreshing to know that you were linked to the mod a...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

I have moved on to Western Shores FS17 map from Frontier Design. Huge amount of detail and no square fields. The only problem I have is everyone is driving on the wrong side of the road! :biggrin2: Preparing a field for planting with my Massey Ferguson fleet. https://image.giants-software.com/1/PQEK...

Re: Evolution of Farming Simulator

I agree with comments by 1992Tadej1992 on Bullet Bills Western Shore map. It is outstanding in detail and realism. Plus add in the Skyswap mod along with Skypack and you have an FS17 map that far exceeds the aesthetic capability of FS19. Currently I am on FS17 more than 19 but there are some things ...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

It has been a while since I checked in on this tread but that doe not mean I have not been farming. Probably way too much but I am leaving the Lone Oak farm in good shape with over 1.3 million dollars in the bank account along with over 270,000 liters of soybean in the silo waiting for a better mark...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

We just suffered through a major disaster at LOF. The farm manager was playing around with a “time machine” to rapidly advance from late autumn through the winter season. It is a good concept as long as you manage to stay awake. :blushnew: The next thing we knew we were in the first day period of s...
