Re: No Man’s Land

Ugh, my save got corrupted. I guess I'm on FS19 break for a bit. I probably need 6-8 hours to set everything back up. I'm probably going to use the grinder and just grind all the trees down rather than doing actual forestry for the second time.

I have removed the mods that I think caused the issue.

Re: No Man’s Land

My two cents, 1) Start on Farm Manager as the $1MM is worth more than the equipment, land and crops you get from New Farmer 2) Cut down the sign that removes all the rocks. Many areas are still rock textured, so they'll be there and dodging rocks is a bit less fun. 3) Buy 4-6 parcels of land semi-cl...

GC Bale Storage

I am trying to get a bale storage mod to spawn 10000L bales. I am currently working with the Big Bale Storage Pack mod. I have edited all the xml files in the mod and the purchasable game bales in the core game to produce 10000L bales. The Big Bale Storage Pack mod spawns the bales, deducts 10K from...

Re: No Man’s Land

Ignoring the tree sign, which will get fixed. This is probably one of only a handful of actual FS19 maps that takes full advantage of the placable system and allowing the player to farm their way.

Major props to the map maker.

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

Playing a little miniburn seasons. I predict this will end soon as I'm already getting bored fast forwarding through days and doing fertilizer contracts.

Guidance steering issues

Yesterday, guidance steering wouldn't save the courses and today I can't even get the mod menu to come up (ctrl+s). I have tested this with GPS as the only mod enabled, redownloaded the mod, tried different tractors and tried different maps. The mod clearly exists to some extent because the $15000 c...

Re: what do you consider cheating

The fastest way to get me to turn a stream off is for the max speed and width of all the equipment to be 2x or more of the base game. Obscene capacity limits raise an eyebrow as well. If someone is going to use a 50m combine going 40 kph with a million capacity grain tank, why not just cheat money i...

Re: US Configurations

They might sell more DLC if the equipment has both options. I have no desire to buy the most recent DLC because I'll have to use a modded 9RX anyway. If I'm going to use a modded 9RX, why not just use the DB120 or a big air seeder mod; at which point, why bother buying the DLC. In general I like DLC...

Re: What do ya guys think of the dlc?

I would think the reason we haven't seen anything released by Giants that takes advantage of the placeable system, is because how rough and ready it is in the current game. Certainly looking around the forums at the number of topics such as "Why is Place Anywhere not been made part of the Game?" sh...

Re: What do ya guys think of the dlc?

I have to say I'm in agreement with everything Farmer Klein said above. I've had over a month off playing FS19 as got burnt out on it, playing it everyday for over a year for my work. I've fired it up today to look at this new DLC pack, because I bought the Season Pass and it got automatically down...

Re: AM I the only one that finds seasons frustrating...

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, I used the Montana Geo as it aligns with the pacific northwest map. I ran 6 day seasons. My time scale is 5x. The thing is I really want to build my farm as I like to start from scratch because it gives me the freedom to develop my farm yard the way i want to but ...

Re: AM I the only one that finds seasons frustrating...

I quit playing seasons because I was tired of spending the majority of my time driving a fertilizer spreader and pushing the fast forward key. I feel the correct way to play seasons is to pick a time setting, say 5x, and don't touch it. The problem with this is that it rains too long so you can end ...

Re: What do ya guys think of the dlc?

If you play on console, it's probably ok.

If you play on PC, it's a waste of money; equipment is too wide for European maps and mods exist for the 9RX that allow NA configurations.

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

What are you looking for? I’ve played on quite a few maps in the time that I have been playing 19. The best example I can give is probably the Holzer map minus built in animal pens, overly curvy roads and less random junk (fences mainly) all over the map. I also wouldn't mind it being 4x instead of...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

I'm currently waiting on a couple mods before I start farmin again.

1) Custom Modding's update to the 9RT
2) Custom Modding's 4940 spreader/sprayer
3) Map that inspires me.

I'm kinda bored right now, so I might get motivated to work on my own map.
