Re: Bio Gas Mod makes the game far too easy

FS 19 is a sandbox. It's up to the player to set the rules and abide by them. If a particular aspect of the game is too easy, especially a mod, it's up to the player to either not use it or set reasonable role play limitations. For instance, I placed a buy anything silo on my current map. Now, there...

Re: what do you consider cheating

Personally, I resist using equipment that is un-realistically speedy or effective. Other than that I think the game is pretty under-fleshed and it's up to the player to add their own role play to the sand box. And with that in mind: anything goes. For instance, I think starting with no property, mon...

Is there a small mod out there that stores just woodchips? I don't need a whole multifruit silo, I have storage for everything else. Just need to store my woodchips until winter. Thanks!
Sounds like someone has been cleaning out around their fields!

Re: Bourgault Equipment Questions

Thanks for the input, guys. Is there a consensus on which type is better ingame, or does it come down to preference? And what are the Friday fact sheets? Have not come across these yet.

Bourgault Equipment Questions

I have no experience with this company, or with real life farming, so I'm hazy about several aspects of the seeding technology. Here's the lineup from the Steam dlc page: - 3320-76 Paralink Hoe Drill – Seeder - 3420-100 Paralink Hoe Drill - Seeder - 7950 Air Cart - Seeder - 71300 Air Cart - Seeder -...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

That's interesting about the silage, Mwal & Dairydeere. I guess I did notice that when I fed my cows grass silage they got a boost over just plain grass. When I see corn, though, I also think of massive profits from ethanol production. On the map I'm on I can mix fuel from a 25/75 water/corn ratio f...

Re: What's going on, on your farm?

Looks like a lot of fun, Mwal. A couple of questions: what is the point of converting your corn to silage? Also, now that you've had a chance to harvest some cotton, do you think the John Deere cotton harvester would be a worthwhile investment, or is it too expensive for what it does compared to the...

I actually think Hazzard is a great mix of the two styles of farming.
