Re: Losing my hay harvest seems to be a tradition for me
Tedding will only make wet grass(dark green) to damp grass(green) then it will dry down on its own if the weather is favorable to dry grass (light green/yellowish) it will dry on its own if you wait long enough and have favorable drying weather though. I had great success on Lone Oak Farm without t...

Re: Losing my hay harvest seems to be a tradition for me
Did you make sure tocheck the weather tab in seasons menu? At the bottom you can see how well the grass will dry, you should choose a day with "++", no rain and mow as early as possible in the morning, so you will have a full day to let the grass dry. I hadn't figured out the drying potential icon ...

Equipment modeling and personal "wants"
I find as I learn more, as a n00b, I am developing requirements for equipment. For instance, I don't want any trailer in any category that doesn't have a steering axle (single axle excluded obviously). I think I've used a seeder that hovered above the ground and that bugged me... Ultimately, I think...

Re: Losing my hay harvest seems to be a tradition for me
I guess you are playing with seasons? Try changing to a higher number of days per seasons. If you are only using 3 day season now, weather is going mad as there is just not enough time. 6 day seasons or even 9 day seasons works much better in terms of weather. You also need to make sure to collect ...

Maps: quitting and restarting
Does anyone ever find themselves totally stoked on a map start and then a measly 24 hours later--in game time--you realize you made a wrong turn at Albuquerque and now see no way out but to delete the savegame and start over? I'm in a somber mood... Stappenbach is so good, but it's also difficult to...

Re: Losing my hay harvest seems to be a tradition for me
Thought I'd try to save some face and use a loading wagon. But I was too underwhelmed to even load a second wagon so apparently, it's the baling and managing of bales I enjoy. Silage bales don't satisfy the need to use the bale spike. /rant

Re: Starting in Farm Manager mode
So I can't really start with no equipment? If I sell the existing equipment on New Farmer I'll have less money, and If I do it on Farm Manager I'll have a ridiculously huge amount of money... Then lease cotton harvesters and return them until you have the money down to where you want. That's actual...

Stappenbach includes all equipment and placeables in all three modes... rendering New Farmer the hardest mode.

Re: Seasons GEO and Maps matching.
Was going to post a thread like this but it’s already here so... bump.
I use Oregon GEO for Lone Oak Farm and Geiselberg for Geiselberg

Sure would love suggestions for GEO’s for Stappenbach and The Old Stream Farm maps
Also, which map would work with the México GEO?
Cheers!
