they were paid by nividia not to.
:hmm:

and yet the PS4 and Xbox1 both have AMD Radeon based GPU and AMD APU/CPU (basically x86-64 Athlon/Sempron architecture), which is the big money making side for Giants.

Re: Next DLC

I hear a rumour that the next DLC will be based on an area in Hamburg and will be expanding the role of hand tools, wheelbarrows and pedestrian controlled rotavators and mowers etc within the farm sim universe, it will be an urban setting depicting community allotments nestled alongside the northern...

Re: GIANTS focus on the Placeable system for Fs19 was a mistake.

@bossmanslim @muzickmage Placeable hedges and fences not being able to work on anything but flat ground is not a minor issue. It is again a major flaw in the placeable system. Not all of us want to farm a flat part of the earth. Some of us like a map that is actually interesting. the ONLY simple wa...

Re: GIANTS focus on the Placeable system for Fs19 was a mistake.

the placeable system is fine, but some of its shortfalls are caused by making it work easily so its just point and click for the masses. the only way your going to get the placeable system to work in a more expected way is to abandon the point and click nature, which now they have the landscaping to...

Re: Fs 21 discussion thread

what does it say about the state of 19 if less than 6 months after launch people are already talking about it's replacement? :hmm: it says nothing. Because people did the same of FS15 after FS13 came out, as did they of FS17 after FS15 came out, as did they of FS19 after FS17 came out, so its hardl...

Re: Looking for a big map to make your own? (Especially USA guys)

Taylor's Farm Multifruit 4x By Cazz64 , is not actually a 4x map, its a standard size map of 2km x 2km. to be a 4x map, it would have to be 4km x 4km which would make it twice the width and twice the height of a default map thus 4 times the size. i.e. default 1x (2km x 2km = 4km2): ■ 4x map (4km x ...

Re: John Deere 8r 2016-18 EU series is in testing

Except it won’t work, there are a lot of third party sites that you can download mods for pc. Console would suffer, if anything Giant would have to find a way to change mods to only come from mod hub. Otherwise we just have to live with it a lot of third party sites (though not all) are also morall...

Re: John Deere 8r 2016-18 EU series is in testing

banning sends a clear message that some types of thing wont be tolerated at any level. Sometimes you have to make examples, and examples are best made with better knowns who used some dubious practices longer term rather than with unknowns who don't, as it reminds people that no one is above action...

Re: John Deere 8r 2016-18 EU series is in testing

the simplest option is to ban all parties involved from submitting mods to ModHub, it solves the problem and it sends a message to them and others that dishonesty etc wont be tolerated when it comes to the provenance of mods in full or in part, and the importance of obtaining permission from and cre...

Re: John Deere 9000i Series

I could think of a lot more harvester types I would put ahead of grape harvester, if you have to introduce a new crop for them too. then you have the fact that I am quite sure most if not all the tractors are to big for vineyards in the main, especially if the grape harvester is the trailed type, as...

Re: John Deere 9000i Series

Kemper are owned by Deere and Co, and plenty of machinery companies have people on the payroll who are more than capable of making stiff in 3d to place in games, that's if Giants weren't paid to make it by Kemper/JD as part of a commercial arrangement tied to the use of FS19 at agricultural shows.

Re: Blender Exporter Plugin - Feedback

not blender I know, but how about fixing the 3dsmax i3d exporter (8.0) so it will export the UV channel's above the base UV channel in 3dsmax 2017, so we don't have to deal with the issues .fbx files have with scaling etc even though they do export the all the UV channels and the Giants editor will ...
