Re: Cleaning animals on fs19
It's 1 minutes' work once a day for each pen. Why spend 20 minutes laying a straw floor to save 1 minute a day? Why the need to make a bigger mess to avoid having to clean up a small mess regularly? There's not a lot to do with the animals anyway, so if you just want to avoid playing the game, turn...

Re: Marwell Manor is Finally Here!
According to Courseplay: 15: 7.0 hectares 18: 13.24 hectares 19: 8.24 hectares I can confirm those numbers as 6.98 , 13.23 and 8.23 in hectares according to the in-game statistics page based a lot of sowing and harvesting operations. Those number never changed. Yep, 8.23 hectares on Field 19, just ...

Re: Marwell Manor is Finally Here!
I harvested the barley from field 15 and got 6.98 hectares from the stats page, close to your 7.00. Sowing Radish on field 18 gave me 13.23 ha, nearly the same. I harvested the grass on 19 and got a 11.70 ha reading. Just looking at the map, though the grass field has an odd shape, it’s obviously qu...

Re: Auger wagons
They’re useful if you have a “grain train” with several wagons that you don’t want to lug to the harvester.

Re: Getting tired of tab-ing through the vehicles
In FS13 on Hagenstedt, I never “teleported”. I either ran from vehicle to vehicle, or I used the golf carts to get from field to the farm and back. Made where I parked things important. Now I teleport, I will admit.

Re: Repair
Unless I am missing something, an option to tab through the vehicles in the repair area would be great! Currently I have to remove the weight and attachment to get each part... An alternative which I do now after hundreds of hours on Ravenport is select Purchase, select Garage at the bottom of the ...

Re: Forestry in fs19
Mrsealyp’s recent video demonstrates using the big bag lifter automatically strapping together several small logs at once. I’m encouraged, because the current log fork is worthless.

Re: Starting modes without anything
It’s a long haul when starting from scratch in hard mode, no doubt. I’m at 400+ hours and 500+ missions on Ravenport, and only in the last hundred hours have I begun the transition from missions to farming my own fields, six owned, close to 20 hectares in size. I really like my equipment, especially...

Re: Ravenport Garbage heaps
Ravenport’s trash cans are actually empty, thus people throw trash at them with zero success, implying UCLA’s basketball recruiters have good reason to ignore the area. Even if nowhere else, vehicle shop employees would clean their area on a daily basis for appearance’s sake and good public relation...

On the other hand, weeding contracts pop up all the time during a typical infestation, supporting my farmer’s balance sheet.

Re: Rain, rain go away.
The southern half of Arizona where I live averages 7 or 8 inches of rain per year. Without exception, every field is irrigated. Cotton is a great crop in AZ.

This is kind of related - does anyone know if fertilizing a grass field in 19 increases yield? It helped in 17 Seasons I think.

Re: Forestry ?
I chopped down hundreds of trees in 15 and 17. I suffered through three trees on Ravenport before selling a woodsy field 19 to be able to buy field 7 without a tree in sight.

Re: Rain, rain go away.
My rain on Ravenport lasted an hour short of two full days, but hasn’t rained again in the following 15 game days.
