Re: modders wtf?
Sadly, not all imagination - all examples I've stumbled across between FS15 and FS19 when reading through forums and comments on mod sites/modder FB/Blogs. Though I will profess to using my imagination for the contextual examples I provided, as I can only wonder at the "necessity" for many...

Re: modders wtf?
Players demand modders provide FREE content because absolutely anything and everything from: - the farming world ( every make/model/configuration/iteration ever created ), to - construction ( need 1,000T cranes to lift silage bales! ), to - sports cars ( need to get there faster ), to - emergency s...

Re: Request/challenge for Modders
@DirectCedar - just curious, how do you consider an excavator with a "full log harvesting head" sufficiently different from the existing in-game harvesters? Is price the sole delineation? I personally believe forestry could use some fleshing out, especially in the mid-range. One of the thi...

Re: Request/challenge for Modders
First off, I will profess I had some difficulty following your proposal.... If I understand you correctly, with your original point about sell points, you are basically asking for wood harvesting/delivery contracts (with increased conditions, such as log length, and increased delivery points) and/or...

Re: general question
There is a graphic setting called "Realistic Beacons" in the graphics menu - any setting below the highest results can result in beacons not displaying in-game (default items and some modded, depending on how they are configured). Cost me a few (frustrating) hours to figure that out back i...

Re: U know 19 was fun.
Independent of which platform people play on, over the past few years, I personally get the sense that many people come to the forum and outright demand MOAR CONTENT, without the desire/willingness to understand the process (especially licensing aspects!), nor appreciate the time/effort required to ...

Re: Follow me and GPS mod for console?
Anything is possible. How likely it is to happen is a different story, and the general consensus is "not at this time".

Re: Trying to modify a Conveyor to empty Cow/Pig Manure Silo without needing to keep moving it.
@cwattyseo: You need to open it up in GE and adjust the work area nodes. Those determine the area from which a conveyor will pick up from the ground (those that can). @tuzlo: Google "Stevie FS19", his facebook page will come up. The first pinned post has all download links for all of his c...

Re: Giant mod hub
Another aspect is that the bar is much higher for maps to make it to console due to performance-related restrictions imposed by the console OEMs (NOT GIANTS!). I suspect the extra effort required (and the perceived notion that modders must port their work to consoles) deters many map-makers.

Re: Follow me and GPS mod for console?
There shouldn't be any need to "give up" any other functionality... Ideally, no - I agree with you in general. Pragmatically though, it is quite possible. Don't under-estimate the amount of background processing that is going on already, between the number of resolution cells coupled with...

Re: Follow me and GPS mod for console?
Ok, sure - people want this functionality. What are you willing to consider forsaking in order to accommodate? Not saying compromises are required, but I cannot recall seeing anyone actually proposing something that could be forsaken in order to introduce this complex (processing-wise) functionality...

Re: Follow me and GPS mod for console?
Probably the most asked mod for FS17, why on earth Giants didnt add some kind of code into the engine for FS19 so modders could add this is beyond me, but then it still rains in buildings. just shows the dont really listen to there fan base and just do there own thing I have to (politely) disagree ...

Re: Ignoring American?
I would like to offer an additional element to consider: Intellectual Property Licensing could be divided between regional entities. It could very well be that GIANTS has only secured the IP rights to the European-region IP. Ergo, lack of North American-specific IP content. Compounding this would be...
