Re: A big thanks to all the mods for FS19

Absolutely. Almost everything I play with is a mod. They take FS to a whole new level!

Thank you modders!

Re: Am I remembering correctly?

There is really only ONE reason I play with the same GEO. It's because I hate checking off all the GEOs anytime I switch a map. I wish it would lock a GEO in with the matching map if I'd like it to. That would be the bomb.com

Edit: had to correct autocorrect

Re: Am I remembering correctly?

I always play with seasons, I never use a GEO. I thought there was a map where the author had made it where the trees and shrubs turned brown during winter.

Am I remembering correctly?

I could have sworn that there was a map on the mod hub that had all the trees and bushes brown during the winter. I decided to try out Millennial Farmer map and as soon as it started up it was snowing. No big deal, first day of spring and snow I can understand. Cold air and whatnot, that's no biggie...

Re: Big carrot harvesting operation question...

It is a repurposed potato and beat harvester, the ROPA and Holmer I believe. I was wanting to do carrots on Ravensburg but I don't wanna pay half a million for the harvester

Re: Ravensberg and seeding carrots question

Thanks Ace, I was not aware of this thread. Will use this one for now on. That map is the BEST by the way. The design of that thing is out of this world. Agreed. The design is great. Love the map, love the drive to the sell points, paintable bushes and flowers, map border, and the list goes on.

Re: What are people looking forward to the most in the new game?

I have to agree with the fences. Being able to click and drag to set up my fence perimeter and place gates to make my own cattle pin is amazing. That appears not to be the case. Animal pens were listed separately in one of the blog entries, suggesting they are still pre-determined and that you can'...

Re: What are people looking forward to the most in the new game?

As of currently with mods, I can set an open cattle range anywhere on my map that I own land. I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that with their new future allowing you to set your fence perimeter exactly how you want it you could set the pen inside after you were done. Again, that's an assumption. And g...

I have to agree with the fences. Being able to click and drag to set up my fence perimeter and place gates to make my own cattle pin is amazing. I know productions aren't what a lot of people are looking for, but I am kind of excited about those too. Being able to make flour, then sell the cakes sou...

Re: What is the economic health of your farm?

I'm playing on Chellington, I only own three smaller fields. I have two tractors, older ones along with an older tipper. My harvester is older also. I'm $200,000 in the hole and I'm sitting on about 10 grand in my bank account. I play on the hardest settings and can't afford cattle right now. My onl...

Re: Are you an actual farmer?

I am not a farmer. I am a barbecue pitmaster, I've only driven one tractor in my whole entire life and that was the mow my rich uncle's giant yard, it was 100 acres roughly. I just really enjoy working with different equipment on the game, abiding by the time constraints that do exist, and the grind...

Re: Why Osina?

I have to admit I literally only come to this forum to read Chedlys responses. Not really, but they make the day better. Totally get where you coming from Ched. How someone can't like a map, and question her bash other people for liking it is beyond me. I hate giant square fields, but I don't hate y...

Poking the Chedly Bear are ya?

People like maps for certain reasons, and others dislike them for the same reason sometimes. We're all like different things is why, I guess.
