Re: Fence slots on Console

I believe it’s one slot total for the fencing, and a slot for gates. Same as the grapes and olives. If they were 3 slots per section, a console player would never be able to plant grapes or olives. I’ve planted over 5h/a each of grapes and olives on a single map, with the Cheap Grapes/Olives mod a 5...

Re: Potatoes "broken" ?

I tried really hard to like the Grimme Pack, but there are too many issues. The planters skip rows. The lightweight harvesters miss rows and take large turn around areas. Just not enough amazing to overcome the obstacles. I’m on PS5, I would say going with the Ropa might be best. I don’t think it ne...

Re: European Farmers

In Germany it is quite uncommon to see any type of American pickup trucks used in farming, or even grain carts. Most transporting of agricultural products by farmers is usually done using tractors and trailers. Commercial trucks are typically only used to transport agricultural products by larger c...

Re: European Farmers

American pickups like American cars and American trucks get hit by reciprocal trade tariffs. As the US Gov has the bright idea to protect domestic manufactures from European vehicle imports, so introduced trade tariffs that put large tax on European vehicle imports to the US, so Europe etc did the ...

Re: European Farmers

American pickups or pickups in general became more common in recent years, but they are still rare. For example our vet got one and when my sister came home on Ford Ranger, people were literally stopping on street to check it out and saying "what a huge car" lol. Tipper trucks are most co...

Re: Potatoes "broken" ?

I believe potatoes are still one of the highest profit crops in the game, regardless of difficulty. Obviously on hard difficulty, your numbers would be less, so more is better.

Re: Poof, vanishing pallets

I don’t have the ability to go to a previous save or change files. Since I had trouble with the mod before, unable to charge electric van, I just deleted the mod. I’ll take hit on products. I can’t replace their value, but I was out either way. Thankfully it was only eggs and honey in most instances.

Re: European Farmers

Thanks. I usually cart grain with a pickup and turntable trailer. It’s not at all reasonable because even our big pickups are not that powerful or sturdy. I mostly do it because it’s way faster as the game doesn’t recognize vehicle strength or capability. It just limits to weight and power. Plus pic...

European Farmers

In the US pickups are a major part of the lifestyle. We do everything with our trucks. I see as many large pickups hauling hay and straw bales on gooseneck trailers as I see commercial trucks. Not to the same scale of course. In fact there is so much pickup work being done, I’m hearing about new lic...

Re: Poof, vanishing pallets

It does appear to be a mod that was updated. The Lizard Rumbler Van update is causing pallets not loaded my an auto load trailer to vanish. If the mod was enabled any action regarding the mod will make items vanish. So be sure to sell all pallets before disabling the mod if you’ve updated the file.

Poof, vanishing pallets

So…I just noticed all my previous pelleted products vanished. Eggs, thousands of liters of honey are all gone. I’m thinking I was a mod update. I’ll have to go to another map and disable the mod to be certain.

Re: Does anyone else not bother with productions?

I do play maps where I forego any productions. They can often take the thrill away from making big grain sales like previous games.

Re: Is this a bug or by design?

I’ve not encountered this on my fields yet. That texture looks like a harvested field not a planted field.

Re: Best map for horses?

Griffin, Indiana for sure. Huge pasture near the starting farm. Trails built in and plenty of areas to connect together by grinding up a few trees. And massive fields for crops. And a train with a dozen grain cars.
