Re: Share your favorite real life farming videos.

To cheer everyone up a little on blue monday :-) , some New Holland tractors and the very first Schuitemaker Rapide 7200 fitted with a sliding axle (called a schuifas in Dutch) in action. The wagon was bought by this contractor in 2018 and back then already stood out because of the large 850/50R30.5...

Re: Getting Chaff off Field

or transfrer chaff module from a field hooklift trailer to hooklift semi-trailer but that doesnt feel very authentic. I'm on Meadow Grove so can't go too big. The hooklift method is used here in the Netherlands, mostly with custom built forage harvesters. Have a look on Youtube for the Dutch compan...

Re: John Deere Forage Harvester? How likely?

I still hope we get one (and a Fendt Katana as well), maybe just as a single vehicle with several headers. Like they did with the New Holland FR in FS15

Re: forage harvest with overloader

I think Overloader is a term that hasn't translated well from Giants native German to the English speaking parts of the world. I guess in Giants eyes because these vehicles are designed to act as in intermediary between harvester and trailer, they receive the load from a Harvester and then 'Overloa...

Re: forage harvest with overloader

Where I live "overloaders" are sometime used in the wet seasons to get the maize off the field, the tractors would easily get stuck in the mud so they put the overloader and forage harvester on tracs and leave the trucks and/or tractor on the road, it also prevents getting the roads covered in mud. ...

Re: MOD CONTEST MODS ARE ONLINE !

So far I really like the Geiselsberg map, I'm amazed by the amount of detail. The layout/size of the fields, roads etc just looks very similar to where I'm from and the area just across the German border here. My compliments for the modders, excellent work ! Other highlight for me was the Veenhuis s...

Re: Is FS19 missing something?

And engine sounds at idle sound good on 19. But under load and in acceleration, 17 sounds far better. Maybe this can help you a little : https://www.fs-uk.com/forum/index.php?topic=205657.0 I made this post on LS-UK for those that do not visit the German section of the Giants forum. This sound fix ...

Re: Samson PG II 35

For me it doesn't really need to be 100% functional. I mean if you leave it on the tank you can fill it, but for a sense of realism or roleplaying you could lower it into the slurry. So I'm happy it is at least animated/controlable. The same with the reel on the combine header or the covers on the t...

Around 300 hours on Felsbrunn, and 59.5 hours on my Case IH Magnum 7230 Pro, by far my favourite tractor after I fixed the sound.

Re: Samson PG II 35

The arm is for refilling the slurry tank, ingame I think it is just cosmetical but on the real thing they lower it into the slurry pit or slurry container/storage. So the driver doesn't have to get out of the tractor and connect the hoses each time, and time is money :-) Edit : Samson has a nice vid...

Re: 2 things i would like some opinions and answers on.

I don't miss the sales and for the nuggets I'm glad they are not in FS19 for reasons earlier mentioned by others. I wouldn't mind if sales on machinery returned in FS19 or in a future game, but for realism I would prefer it as buying it as used equipment (a former demo machine perhaps with some engi...

Re: Problem with silage bunker on Oakfield farm.

I've had the same issue with a placeable bunker from the modhub, some chaff gets stuck inside the walls and doesn't turn into silage. I tried various shovels but despite it being chaff, none of them can pick it up. But you can clear it with a plough (no need to turn field creation on), so you can ke...

Re: Anyone else still play on Felsbrunn?

I still play on Felsbrunn since day 1, I own fields 18 to 22, but have reshaped them a bit. Built my cow farm on field 21, joined 20 and 19 together and have expanded all fields I own. I split up 22 into 2 fields and bult a new road in between. So far the game runs fine and the more I build and resh...

Re: Any way to pull any trailer behind NH forage harvester?

Why is the Krone Cargo or simply a Forage Harvester Trailer not in game? Is a Krone Cargo a genuine Krone machine? I cant see them on the Krone websites The Krone Cargo was built by Bomech, a company from Albergen in the Netherlands and it was used by the contractor Jansen Wijhe also from the Nethe...

Re: Any way to pull any trailer behind NH forage harvester?

I want to chop hay using the pickup head, but need to pull any trailer behind in order to do this since hired workers don't work with the pickups? Anyone know a way to accomplish this? Using the Follow Me mod also works nicely, you can drive the forage harvester yourself and have a worker driving t...
